Great Product. Poor packing for shipping.
After reading the low reviews on here I was concerned about how it would arrive.Well it did make it safely. But how I don't know?The handles are only about 1/4 inch round . And cast iron is brittle .Only 1 layer of bubble rap on hole pan.Would be way better to just focus on protecting handles.But as far as Product. In my opinion top notch as most all of this company's products are for Cooking.Rinsed it off out of package and heated it up to 450 degrees. Tossed a sourdough crust on it without any oil.Baked great and to my surprise pizza slid right off with no residue left behind.So Amazon just get packing right.

Heavy duty pan, made to withstand high temperatures.
This is a heavy duty oven pan, perfect for pizza and made to endure high temperatures, I've not used it for long so cannot attest to its longevity but instinct tells me this is a good product, again, heavy, well made, and can withstand incredible heat. Great for old fashioned pizza that are often made in wood burning ovens.

GAME CHANGER!
Ive been making homemade pizza for years in my oven. While it’s been delicious, it has always seemed like it was missing that pizza joint quality. I did my research and was on the fence between the 1/2” steel, Hexclad pizza pan and this lodge pizza tray. I decided to go with the Lodge since I already have one of their skillets and it has been fantastic. I also chose the Lodge because it is 4 times less than the other two.I received it last night and used it to make pizzas for lunch today. I am absolutely floored at how amazing the pizza dough turned out. Cooked the pizza in 4 minutes at 550°. The top wasn’t quite as brown as I like so for the second pizza I heated the oven to 550°, then turned on the broiler and allowed the Lodge to cook the dough while the broiler took care of the cheese on top. Crust came out sturdy golden brown on the bottom. Super crisp light and airy around the edges.As far as the quality, it is cast iron and very sturdy and it is larger in person than I expected. The surface was smoother than I thought it was going to be which was really nice as well. Cleanup is easy enough with hot water and a little gentle scrubbing.I sincerely can’t say enough about how great this was after only one pizza making session.

HEAVY, but AWESOME!
I love this! The size helps me keep my oven clean, even when I add extra cheese to my pizza before baking. It never sticks and it browns the crust evenly. I've cooked several other types of things on it as well. It IS heavy, but I'm just very careful when handling it. I use one of those scrubby cloths to clean it. There is a SLIGHT bit of discoloration after several uses, but nothing serious. I think the price point is perfect for the quality.

Great for a gas grill
This is great on a gas grill. It’s way better than a pizza stone; it heats up quickly and retains heat well. Preheat it for 10-20 minutes and it makes a great crispy crust. I also use this as a frying pan on my grill. It’s great for things like salmon fillets.

It is well made. We love Lodge cast-iron. To heavy
you cannot go wrong buying Lodge cast iron. I wanted a pizza pan. We make a lot of our own pizza. This is a big heavy I do not like the short handles on the pan, because of this we will not be using it a lot. It did make a good pizza, no sticking at all. I hope to find a smaller one, i think it would be easy to use. Last many years if you take the time to clean it oil it. Just to big , heavy, handles are to short for the pan itself.

Quality Product = Great Pizza Crust
I grew up using cast iron skillets. I’m thrilled that Lodge is making other cast iron products. I replaced a lesser quality grocery store round for this one. It makes the best crust on pizzas!! No more soft or soggy crusts!!
