Is this item made outside the USA? Also where are the source materials made?

It was made in Alaska from rare Asian goose feathers that were collected from a mermaid while riding on the back of a porpoise. Completely fair trade and 100% Jackson Galaxy cat daddy magic went into this. I actually got a private tour of the facility where these are made and it was like something out of a dream. Mermaids were meowing in unison and there were rainbows all around.

Is this toy supposed to have plastic feathers or real feathers?

Mine had plastic feathers and fringe. I'm glad. My 16 pound Maine Coon chokes on feathers. He actually sits facing this toy meowing till I play with him. I have 2 different other wands, but he ignores them.

can you use the ground toys on the air wand?

do not buy, the toy is too heavy for air wand and it will break within few days. I do not recommend :(

Does anyone know if the Air wand is the same thing and I can attach the feather toys to this one or is there something different about that product?

I wouldn't buy this again. The wire comes bent in a circle that is very hard to straighten. It broke within a week or two. My cats loved Go Cat Teaser Cat Catcher Wand Cat Toy and Cat Dancer Cat Charmer - after several years, they are both still here and being used. The one thing that does get beat up is the little mouse on the cat teaser - it can come off, but you can put it back but know that your cat(s) will chew up that mouse!
