Think whatever you want about whether or not there's a difference between food grade and industrial grade co2 but the truth can be found in your soda stream bottle. As I ran out of bubbly in my soda mod bottle I just let a little bit of water sit in the bottom of the bottle. I came back to it because I was looking to take a pill and it was the closest thing I could grab and when I got the water in my mouth it was pretty evident that there was something wrong. It smelled like a mechanic bay. That greasy oil smell. So if you bought one of these, consider your source.

This only worked for one fill, and I think even less than that. I should have gotten much more than a months worth of use with my soda stream. I only used it to carbonate a half dozen 16 oz. bottles. When I get it refilled I can hear a slight leak and nothing helps. Within 24 hours of the refill this canister is useless. I'm five days past the return window which is very disappointing.

This works, no issues. I wish SodaMod sold a 12oz on Amazon without the adaptor, that's what I really wanted. The shipping through their website seems excessive.
