Bought these to replace one damaged and lost when in the field. The rubber is sticky taped on to the metal base, this makes it easy to knock off on branches corn stalks etc. I took some mcnett camo tape and wrapped mine so I wouldn't lose it again. These do reduce the sound signatureof your crossbow; however crossbows are much louder than a compound bow, and nearly impossible to stealthily reload for a second shot.

When it comes time to replace the Excalibur dissapator bar pads, this is the product to use. Marketed by Excalibur, they of course fit, do exactly what they are supposed to do, and the price(s) while not low, are reasonable. You would not choose wisely if you tried to substitute anything else for these.
