UGG: Count

As an ardent wargame collector (and mediocre wargame player) for over 60 years, I was delighted to discover that Fine Games up on the frontier in North Bend, Oregon, is a reliable source for pristine counter trays and tray covers. I live in Southern California and had never heard of this place before finding them on Amazon, but I'm here to report they do things right. Delivery was exceptionally fast. They must have responded to my order the day the received it. The trays and covers were carefully packaged to make sure they arrived safe and sound. And this seller offers much, much more than just counter trays (e.g., a huge variety of components, special offers, and a catalog of some 10,000 games). So, if you're a gamer looking for good service and a lot of choices, I recommend you check them out.

The trays work very well for the train game, Iron Dragon, to hold the products chips. By removing the original insert and using the tray with the lid, much time is saved. No more sorting before or after.

These are slightly too large on the long side for classic Avalon Hill bookcase games like Squad Leader and Panzer Leader, but you can easily trim off a bit of the side flashing to make them fit. They are a bit shallow, so larger pieces don't fit all that well. But they are better than nothing, and aren't that expensive. I've attached photos of them holding Panzer Leader and Squad Leader pieces.

Had to trim off about 1/8" plastic on the long edges of each tray, but other than that they fit perfectly in my old school, Avalon Hill bookcase game boxes.

I bought many board war games in the 70s and 80s. These trays are the same ones. They are priced right and are very effective in separating all the many game pieces.

The counter trays are perfect for my game pieces of Second Front( Europa). I will buy them again if I need more.

Meets my needs and expectations. Will buy again when I finish clipping the corners off the current stack of games 🙂
