I read previous reviews before purchasing, so knew what I was getting.All the brackets are ever so slightly bespoke, so decide on the height of your shelf and drill for the first bracket, plug the wall and screw the first bracket in place, then use a spirit level to get the height of the next bracket, don't use the top of the square plate, but place the spirit level on the actual bracket, then move the second bracket until the spirit level is level, and mark the holes for the drilling, making sure that you have the bracket the correct way up, i.e.holes in the arm should be top and bottom. Once tou have marked the drill holes, drill and screw in place.I marked the top on the actual bracket, so i didnt try to fit it upside down by accident, as the holes don't necessarily line up top and bottom.Then i dropped a plumbline down so that all my brackets lined up and continued down the wall.They look good and feel strong.The slight discrepancies in the brackets does throw your eye off slightly making it look like you havent fitted the quite straight, but the spirit level says otherwise and I am pleased with the result.

Replaced some relatively unsightly shelf brackets with these and they are much stronger yet more discreet. Just a cleaner, simpler look if that's of importance to you. Will buy more for any future shelving.

First time of using these. No doubt about their loadbearing capacity. On reflection, too robust for the simple domestic shelves I used them for. Only easy to install on flat vertical walls (which mine were). Aesthetic tip - use white screw cap covers on screw heads.

These are really nice when put up. Good quality, all screws and fittings were good. Had cut some pieces of worktop to use as shelves, was a perfect fit with these supports. There is a lot of drilling though, four screws to drill holes for per support and two for fitting the wood on top. It is a good idea to measure carefully so the holes are drilled correctly because there is no wiggle room and you can not adjust the shelves without drilling new holes. So measure twice and drill ones as they say and take your time. The result is definitively worth it. Looks awesome when finished.

These shelf brackets are crudely made but strong and well finished.Unfortunately the mounting plates holes are roughly aligned to the shelf arms, which aren't exactly aligned to the outer edges of the plates. I was able to make these work with a bit of persuading, ie: mounting them square and carefully twisting the shelf arms just right with a spanner.Ultimately they're solid enough and I was able to make them work but there are better made shelf brackets around.

Beautiful and sturdy. I used the 12” and 10” brackets. They are truly 12” and 10”, not 11.25 and 9.25 like most shelf boards brackets. The edges lined up perfectly with the 12” and 10” shelves i made and look fantastic! I dont recommend using the anchors that come with it, they are cheap and not strong enough, but the zinc screws worked fine. One bracket lined up with a stud, in the others I used one 2.5 inch toggle anchor (strongest anchor for drywall) in one of the top screw holes on each bracket (there are 4 holes on each bracket) and self-drilling anchors for the other 3 holes. My shelves are made of heavy 1.5 inch butcher block and I put baskets with heavy laundry items on it. I probably could have done just three brackets per row, but I chose four so that I could have one in a stud and the rest be evenly spaced and symmetrical. All the brackets were straight enough and aligned, though maybe not 100% perfectly, but good enough. The gold/brass color is metallic paint with a gloss on top. Its a lighter brass color and worked great with the other fixtures I chose. Great laundry room refresh!

Nel complesso un buon prodotto, ma occorre necessariamente sostituire i tasselli, perché quelli forniti sono di bassa qualità. Ho utilizzato le staffe per supportare le mensole in cucina e sostengono un buon peso senza deformazioni. Sono soddisfatta del risultato e ancora reggono alla grande dopo circa un anno dall'istallazione, ma durante il fissaggio ho notato che alcune staffe sono lievemente fuori asse (storte o saldate un po' inclinate rispetto alla base), quindi, se vi è possibile, vi raccomando di prendere un set in più per poi selezionare i pezzi migliori.

I love my 6 pc gold 12” shelf brackets! They are just what I wanted. They exceeded my expectations. They will support my new shelves in my remodeled bookcase. They are sturdy, beautiful, great gold color that matches my bottom cabinet drawer pulls!!! And at a reasonable price.

These were made well, but I was hoping for a champagne gold color where as these are gold-gold.
