I’ve had this flashlight for a good while. I purchased it to see around our fenced in backyard at night, when our dogs are out back, doing there business, and often hiding. :)The other flashlights we used had regular batteries, so they were often dying out, dead, or otherwise only lit up a small area of the backyard. This Energizer, flashlight lights up a large area quite brightly, so we can easily see where the dogs are as well as what they may be trying to get into. It also feels very sturdy. It is a fairly large flashlight, so it’s not likely going to comfortably fit in someone’s pocket, but I like the size of it, personally.This is a very bright flashlight, so be careful about shining it in anyone or anything’s eyes.Overall, I’m happy with the price I paid for it and the value it gives, so it definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a bright, rechargeable flashlight with good battery life, but don’t mind something a little bulky.

These are great flashlights. I have purchased 5 of them ... not because the others have stopped working (all 5 are still going strong) but because they are that good. We use flashlights at work and these durable, rechargeable and very bright

Great light. Unadvertised feature, but this has both USB charging in AND out. With the right USB cable, this can be used to charge your phone in an emergency. Convenient size for use in car. Better value than similar USB chargeable flashlights with similar distance and focus.

So, I have been using this flashlight for about 2 months now as a police officer. I can say that I am pretty happy with the lights throw and brightness. Yes, it is not the eye blinding sun death machine as some more expensive lights like the MODLITES and Cloud defense lights, but its also $40. Battery life on it has been great, as i charge it on a weekly basis and it does get some moderate to serious use as I work at night. Size wise, it is a BIG LIGHT. it is similar to a D cell maglight in size but not as long as one in the handle. I have worked outside in the rain with this light and it hasn't malfunctioned yet, although I have not completely submerged the light in water, as I am not a fish. There is no stupid strobe mode on the light which is the BEST FEATURE OF THE LIGHT. Strobes are stupid and if you are using a handheld light as a defense tool, you really need to reevaluate your stance on self defense. I will say the Tailcap switch has no slop in it at all, which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. You REALLY have to press the button in the middle to activate the light, where as lights like the surefires and streamlights just about anywhere you press on the button it will activate. All in all it is great general purpose flashlight and If it breaks or messes up on me, I will update this review.Update *08/2022*. Light still going strong. The rubber piece that covers the charging port has fallen off, but the light continues to work as designed.

Perfect! I use this when I walk my dog at night. Gives great light and not too big. I love the I just recharge it and I am not having to replace batteries!! Definitely recommend !!

This works so well I came back and bought more and have given as gifts. Very convenient to be able to recharge and the light is nice and bright.

Very well designed flashlight. I've dropped it many times no issues. No strobe, No SOS, just High low and off. Very good battery life, plug in USB C. Highly recommend.

Lasted a year or so, then just stopped taking a charge and stopped working all together. I threw it away. But trying to be fair, it was good while it lasted.
