Metal Lighter Cover Case Pouch Holder Mirror Surface Silver Plain Color for BIC Full Size Classic Lighter Type J6, Idea for DIY Gift (Silver)

I liked this lighter cover so much I wound up buying a second, since I typically keep lighters out near my candles in a couple of rooms and I found myself only using the one in the holder—it's just so much snazzier than a plain ol' Bic! It's super easy to use (the lighter slides right in), seems to be good quality (no scratches or flaws, has nice heft), and is just really pretty. Popping the empty lighter out without breaking a nail was a little tricky; I wound up poking a chopstick into the hole at the bottom of the cover (see photo), which pushed the lighter out far enough that I could use my fingers to finish pulling it out. It was a spur-of-the-moment solution, but it worked brilliantly and is now my go-to removal method. Incidentally, this isn't a criticism, just an FYI. Since the slightly fiddly removal process is a result of the intentionally tight fit—which is what keeps the lighter secure in the holder—I can't complain! Note: Per the item description, the cover fits perfectly on a full-size Bic lighter. I can't comment on other brands.

This is a great find for people who use Bic lighters because the sleeve covers the color of the lighter itself, has an appealing finish, and adds a bit of weight that, altogether could be a little less than a roll of dimes. I could not rate this item for sturdiness or durability due to the short time I have been using it, but my first impression is that because the tube is supported by the lighter itself when inserted,sturdiness would not likely be an issue, while the durability factor is subject to how the customer's usage varies. The only thing that might affect the durability is how long lasting the beautiful finish will endure my handling and not rub off. Not worrying, but I will add a comment if a problem arises.

Fits a bic nicely matched my case perfectly

I love this case. I bought this as I use a lighter only to light my tealight to diffuse essential oils during my Reiki treatments. AS lighters come in all color I wanted a nice, abundance feeling gold color one and I am very pleased with my purchase. I can only recommend it!

Nice, heavy case. It's important to remove any color or graphic plastic wrapping from the lighter before you insert it or it won't fit and will be tough to remove if you get it partway in.

I am impressed by the weight, look, and beauty of this cover. I've had it for 2 weeks and there are no scratches showing, not even micro scratches. I'm pretty rough on my lighters and it showed but this one is holding up well. This cover does not work (fit) bics with sticker cover art/designs. They are too thick. You would have to peel the sticker off first for it to fit.

Based on other reviews, I took a chance but waited to write the review until after really using it; most important, after the change out of lighters... And I love it!👍 Yes, it is a snug fix the first time inserting the lighter. Do not try to insert lighters with plastic cover on it... When it is time to change out lighter, using something small, sturdy and straight to push out the lighter in the hole in the bottom of case. I used a wooden skewer that I use for grilling. New lighter slide right in Nicely; nothing like the first inserting!👍 I love the look and feel of it as well!

Terrific quality and has a good weight to it, not at all flimsy. Fits a standard size Bic lighter very snugly. No, you don’t “need” this, but if you want it, buy it, you won’t be disappointed.
