Will this help with lifting all day at work

Hi Sheila. It will be nice if somebody from the customers answered your question about their experience. But I want to tell you one thing - AVESTON lower back support has a special design to keep your posture while lifting. These 6 ribs hold the muscles to prevent displacement of the vertebrae while weightlifting. I have the same one. This back support brace is supportive and very comfortable! And one more piece of advice - wear it no more than 8 hours a day, your muscles should work also.

Does this help to support back after pregnancy?

Yes, this belt is good for abdominal support and for back support. Every mama after childbirth has weak back muscles. And to prevent of back pain you have wear this back brace post pregnancy. It also helps to flat your stomach

Will this brace be suitable as an abdominal binder in addition to lower back support ?

Hi there. I am definitely sure this brace is good for abdominal support addition with tons of support to the lower back. Please check this video. One thing you have to know about this brace - the material is stiffer than regula abdominal binders. Stiffer material gives more support If any size, velcro, or shipping issues feel free to contact us at support@avestongroup.com if there are any questions! We are always in touch and happy to help you. Have a nice day!

Can anyone tell me how wide the "brace" part of this is; I am short waisted so it is hard to find something to fit comfortably?

I have a 30" waist ordered a small and it was way too small. Large was not in stock. I ordered an Oxstrap (large) It fits perfect. It is 8" high 37" wide and adjustable. I love it.
