Guitar Practice Chair
Pretty well made. The medallions on the sides are plastic and the chair overall feels a bit (not terribly so) cheap. Bought this as my guitar practice chair and it sits a couple of inches too high at its lowest point for my feel. Not a huge problem, I built a small footrest to get to the correct position. I like the saddle style as I usually sit on the corner of an office chair to get a straddle position when I'm playing and this gives me that naturally. I do think it would be more comfy if it tapered a bit more at the point, it's a touch too wide for me. I like it enough to keep it but I'd probably try something else if I were buying again.Update: After a couple of months on this chair I'm loving it. Originally rated four stars, upping that to five. For the money this is a really good buy; very comfortable.

Larin Quality Going Down Hill - Is this how we build things in the USA now?
The attached photos show 2 LARIN motorcycle seat stools. The one on the left was bought from Costco maybe 15 years ago. The one on the right was received today. The quality of the build is much lower in terms of the strength of the base, foot rest, and pneumatic height adjustment. The saddle itself is not the right size and shape to show all of the details on the seat cover properly. The second photo shows what it looked like after sitting on it once. The seat cover is wrinkled and can't really be straightened out again. The one from 15 years ago has had much use and will probably be around in another 15 years. The new one may last a couple years if I am lucky. Sad.
