Saxon Math K: An Incremental Development (Home Study Meeting Book)

We had the teacher book from when my daughter went through this Math so it was nice to just order the worksheets instead of the whole curriculum box again.

At first when I recieved this I thought I had ordered something I wouldn't need or that was too young for my child....After using it? I have found it to be perfect.Theirs lots of repetition which we need. Theirs the Calendar that helps them create and learn day by day, the shape's for that month incorporated into each day. The weather graph helps them learn graphing and seasons and My child enjoys being the weather man. Then theirs the number chart in the back that helps with learning to count up and learning the left and right which at first we struggled with but this book being used every morning has very much helped. I will order one every year.

I cannot see how they can change the name when that is the name the curriculum has called it for so many years. I absolutely love the meeting books because you have everything in the same place. My four and five year old children fought over the K one I bought last year. Now they are going through 1st grade math together. I didn't realize there was a meeting book for each year and am waiting for my "1" now. I bought a different year to take place of the "1" but am disappointed in it am purchasing the "1" now and will take the other one back.

Using this curriculum for the second time and highly recommend. Dont skip the teacher's manual, it is really thorough and provides you with proper verbage and steps for properly presenting the material. The incremental approach of this curiculumreally helps reinforce student's learning. Both my children used this, Saxon 1 for their Kindergarten math curriculum.

I love this program for my son. He is whipping through Saxon K and we will probably start 1st soon.

This cannot be an actual product from Saxon. The page content is the same but the paper Quality is so poor its basically see through because it's double sided. I have ordered these calendars with full curriculum packages for years and never experienced this. They are expensive so im really disappointed. I was trying to save money on shipping and receive it faster but it was not worth it.

Exactly what we needed for the Saxon program, but a bit expensive new. We got it used at a more reasonable price.
