The button snapped the umbrella open very smartly. One dislike having to completely push in if you collapse the umbrella say for shopping in a booth at a market. Before it will expand again, also you can not manually open and close up have to use the button. I gave if 5 stars as it preformed beautifully in 17mph wind busts by the ocean, in mazatlan mex. I would turn adjust to the wind but when in full sun and full wind. I am impressed. Not once turned inside out, strong metal tines. And the reflection tape saves your life in low light and walking with cars driving everywhere... you know mexico...

I like that you push the button to open and close it, but you have to manually compress the shaft to shorten it back down, and it has very strong resistance. So if you are not strong, it’s hard or stiff to close. Also, it’s never fitting back in its travel case once you pull it out, it fluffs up to twice the size. Still, a sturdy umbrella, slightly heavy due to thicker material and good size/coverage, with a nice concept. Bonus, you could club an attacker with it.

Carried this at Darian Lake Amusement Park on a windy 90 degree day. It worked great to protect from the blistering sun and held up to the dry gusts of wind. It is hard to close, but that may be a testament to how sturdy it is. Have not had this long, but so far, so good. Would recommend.

I have no idea whether this umbrella works to block UV rays or not or if it stands up to weather because I never actually used it. When I received it I took it out of the package and opened it. First thing I noticed was it seemed to be made out of the same material as all other umbrellas I've owed, wasn't sure it was actually UV or spf 50 like it states, but I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and wait till I tried it out before making that judgement. My problem with this umbrella came when I tried to close it. I pulled down on it just like anyone would normally do but it wouldn't snap into place. I kept trying as hard as I could and still wouldn't click closed. I just eased up on the pressure I was using to keep it closed and the thing snapped back open with so much force it nearly took off my finger. Despite the fact that there are no sharp edges it sliced a good 2" cut in my finger that I thought was going to need stitches. Thankfully I was able to stop the bleeding and didn't end up in the ER. Needless to say I'm returning this and not taking a chance of getting hurt worse! This is a very poorly designed umbrella and I would never recommend it to anyone!

This umbrella has checked all my boxes! My umbrella had broken after years of tagging along in the car door pocket, and I was searching for a new one, knowing that this would be an opportunity to try out the "new" kind that fold in on themselves instead of spraying water all over me and the car when I closed it. This one opens fast! It's large enough to cover 2 people, or me+work tote+coffee. I find it a convenient weight - I think it's light without being flimsy. Its a tad bigger than my other, but it still fits in my car door pocket. And being really fair-skinned and prone to burning, the spf coating is a bonus, while still having the pretty mint green on the outside! I can't tell you how many times having an umbrella has saved me from a painful burn. And I admit, I like having the matching colored handle instead of plain black!

New update..*** update! Return was super easy and I needed A second one anyway..I really Like these umbrellas..so now I have 2 and maybe I just Had bad luck with the one that the spring popped out. I think It’s been about a month and the spring popped out. Returning for a replacement☹️ I love This umbrella. About to order a second one in a different color

I have used it to block the sun on hot days and in the rain. It is a strong umbrella that holds up well.
