BonecoAir Purifier P400 with HEPA & Activated Carbon Filter

I have owned and run the P400 for a little over a month. I like the design and the way it tucks up to the wall in the bedroom. The noise level, on high is not too disconcerting, but at night I turn the air down one notch, which is very soft sounding. On low, it is silent but the volume of air is significantly reduced.I purchased this air cleaner after a virus caused a hacking cough at night, scratchy throat and stuffy nose. The Boneco made my life so much better (within 24 hours). Now that the asthma like lung issue is better, I still run the filter because it really makes the room feel so much more comfortable. I recommend the P400.

The system is very easy to assemble and to run, and the buttons are very intuitive.I email customer service --- they are in California [[email protected]]-- and have emailed me right back, providing excellent customer service, and sending my suggestions about ease/lack of ease navigating their website, my confusion over 3-filter system and finding information about what each one filters out, the fact that only one can be used at a time, and lack of information in the manual about how to turn unit on/off.Question on saving settings and turning off the unit:"So that button controls the fan speed and looks like this [see button on the right and on top of unit]. Pressing this until there is all but one light left is just setting it to its lowest fan speed and not turning the unit entirely off. To turn off the unit entirely you would need to press the other button [on the left and on top of unit]. This will turn off the entire unit and the display should show blank. Then when you select that button again the unit will start up with the exact display and fan speed that was showing before it was turned off."I'll be glad to add a star after a few months of use during allergy season in Texas, when/if I notice any difference in how I feel.

Only due to having to wear pandemic face N95 Masks, have I understood how strongly filtration eliminates and catches air particles. This air purifier makes almost no noise, but enough that I have to turn it off in order to sleep. I am not using it now, since there are not fires in my area but will do so if there are fires in the future.

This is a good machine, but brand does not support this unit. After the first two years, filters were no longer sold by Boneco and now most secondary retailers have sold out of their inventory or marked up the remaining store by three times. Now I have two three hundred dollar paper weights. Avoid this brand at all cost or this could happen to you.

This is the second Boneco product I purchased. This air purifier is for our master bedroom. We run it 24 hours on 3 bars. The sound is a quiet white noise and doesn't bother us at night. Great product. Easy set-up.
