Works great!
I wish this thing had an on/off switch. I have a nespresso plugged into it and it seems like it pulls just a bit of power constantly. I wish, like a surge protector, you could kill the juice completely when it wasn't needed and just hit a switch to turn it back on instead of plugging-unplugging all the time. Still, does what it's supposed to. Heavy duty (or at least heavy), and I've had no issues.

Effective step down transformer for expat use
Pros: works as advertised, compact, had no problems running my big Kitchenaid stand mixer or Black and Decker waffle iron (both 800 W). Cons: ugly as sin and just as heavy. But this kind of device should be heavy and it should last.

Using it to use British-made amplifier in U.S. Simple, easy to use, and very reliable. Very good deal!

Missing adapter.
Could be great, but I had no chance to test it so far, the box is missing the promised adapter for the USA, so I cannot even plug it in with the European cable/connector.

Fantastic voltage transformer! Highly recommended!
Heavy duty & noiseless! This transformer is great! But beware that it is very heavy. Also remember when buying transformers always buy double the wattage of what your appliance(s) will require.

Works perfectly!
Worked just fine for my sewing machine digital motor. There were many people suggesting that you order one that is rated at twice the power you will need, but that is just to help with the initial inrush current some devices pull when powered on. Its best to know your device. My motor is rated for 850 watts and does not pull more than that at any point.

110 to 220 OR 220 to 110.
I’m running 850W 110VAC to 220VAC predominantly resistive load with no issues. Good quality and has selector switch. Note not for frequency conversion (e.g. not for 60HZ to 50HZ). Most basic kit will handle both frequencies.
