The edaisy solar charger came packaged very nicely. I was impressed with the sleekness of the box, the custom foam insert was great too. It was packaged very nicely. The chager also came partly charged. I hooked two phones into it and they both charged about half way. The charger has an input so that you can charge it from the wall. This is the primary and most effective way to charge this device. The flashlight is very bright! I like that its easy to see how much charge the device has and you can easily see when the sun is charging it. The device is very sturdy and has a nice rubbery outside to help shock proof it. I'm also pleased with the size of it and how easily portable it is. The only things I had problems with were that the carbeaner they sent did not fit on the device (as I show in the video) and also do not be under the impression that this will charge fast in the sun. It does not take a,couple hours, it takes a couple of days! From completely empty to fill it takes between 5-7 days to fill it all the way in the sun. I had a few cloudy days as well. I was told the solar feature is for emergencies and that you are suppose to mainly charge it from the wall. I give it 4 stars because it seems to be a good study device and does well charging phones. Just don't expect the sun to do all the work for ya!

I originally ordered two of the black 8000mAh chargers & one of the blue 4000mAh chargers. One of the black chargers had a defective light torch & the blue charger had a power button that was pushed in all the way, making it a little difficult to operate.I contacted customer service immediately & tried to resolve the issue. They didn't send me replacements of the originals I bought however they sent me two orange replacements with a 12000mAh. I would have preferred the originals but I am happy they sent me two replacements with a higher capacity. I received the replacements within a week, which I greatly appreciated. Very good customer service!Haven't had the opportunity to use the solar aspect but they work great so far by charging through an outlet. Will test the solar component this upcoming week while on a camping trip.

Will be very handy if I ever need a charge for my cell in an emergency situation such as a rain, snow or ice storm that knocks my power out. I also like that this device has a flashlight, which will also come in handy if there's a power outage.

Just bought this solar charger a couple of weeks ago. It seems to work. I haven't yet tested it fully. Placed in indirect sunlight, it did charge the last LED. So I am happy that it seems to doing one of its primary functions. In terms of the other primary function, it works great as a portable charger. Thank you.

Garbage! It would only charge up to 3 of the 4 LED lights, which means 50-75%. I live in Los Angeles, so it's certainly not the sun. Then when I try to use it to charge my phone, it charges almost as slow as a trickle charge. It took 3 hours to charge my phone from 15% to 45%. However, if you need a LED flashlight it certainly works well. But, of course there are many better flashlights that are more compact and brighter. It was a complete waste of money

Was a great charger to take on vacation and let hang off my backpack all day to soak up the sun. Charges slowly from the sun, but all-in-all worked great. Re-charged my phone quickly once plugged in.

This is a must buy shipped fast and I do like the quality of it. Plus and LED light BONUS!!
