Been looking for great sounding, reasonable priced DAB radio /CD. This fits the bill. Easy to program and use, self scanned clock and radio stations when first turned on. Compact but with good sound on both radio and CD. Flexible as has plug in plus usb recharge capability and blue tooth. Not used iPhone wireless charging but sure it be great. Bought during Black Friday discount which additional bonus.

I have been pondering for a while now over a unit to be able to play my cd collection on. I didn't want anything too large, have no spare sockets for extra speakers, just wanted an all in one and this fits the bill perfectly. Obviously with it being all in one the stereo effect is mostly redundant but still there are two speakers within the unit which is nice. The speaker quality is about what you expect from a unit of this price, decently housed, sounds nice at lower to mid volume with some distortion at higher volumes. Nothing off-putting but obviously not Bose quality. I have very realistic expectations in this area and this was pretty much as I thought it would be for sound quality. I was a bit put off by some of the other reviews but took the plunge regardless and no regrets. It shall not be returned and am very happy with my purchase. Very easy to use. Hooked up my phone via Bluetooth no problem. Cd playing is effortless. Digital Radio found itself when I started it up and the clock also happily set itself. Lovely little Stereo. Compact and nice looking. Recommended.

Great sounding DAB+ radio, easy to set up. The Led is clear for seeing the stations your looking for including a manual frequency finder. Small and robust, a handy function is the bluetooth ability and charging feature. The only downside was the EU plug power supply and not a UK compatible one, this means if this happens to you, your going to have to purchase a power supply which is another £16 on what you have already paid out.

This is a great product, very compact and decent sound for its size, however, the CD unit has stopped working after 3 months - Impossible to return on Amazon and they send you to the manufacturer for after care!

Bought as a Christmas present for my husband who has already used it a lot. Main selling point was that it was compact and portable so we can use it in the kitchen and our garden cabin, and aside from having DAB radio, it plays MP3s from multimedia, but best of all, Compact Discs. Has helped us rediscover our CD collection, most of which has sat unplayed in drawers for years. My husband also charges his mobile phone on top of it. Great little music system with a decent sound output, and as I got it substantially reduced in the Black Friday sale, an absolute bargain. Worth the regular price tag though anyway I'd say.

Update: Ten months in and with little use, the CD player has begun to malfunction—getting stuck and skipping, particularly on the first track of any CD I place in it, including brand new, never-before-played CDs and ones it played fine before. This item is nice and compact but packs a punch soundwise. Fairly easy to tune in to all the local DAB stations, including those only on the BAB+ frequencies. Once you have the hang of programming the favourites, it was relatively easy to programme in 30 DAB stations, and there were more favourites slots for FM frequency than I have locally! Bluetooth connects to my Apple products well and streams from Apple Music with no problems. I have tested the CD player, and that works well too. I have not yet tried the USB function or the Aux connection. The only thing that could improve the item is the ability to up the bass or treble as wished; if streaming from an iPad or iPhone/Android system, you can probably adjust that before it reaches your device by Bluetooth/Aux. Radio/CD/USB would be at the neutral bass/treble, which for me is adequate, but when I was younger, I always wanted more bass!!

Brilliant music system - was bought for me as a gift after studying its details- absolutely love it! Very clear radio channels and easy to use charger on top however I found it tends to cut the music off when being charged at same time! Haven’t used cd player as yet but am very happy with the item- compact size and perfect for my needs.

I chose this CD radio for its form factor. I have a relatively narrow shelf in my office, and this fits on it much better than models with a horizontal disk players. The sound quality is OK: better with the DAB radio than the CD. The problem with the CD is that there must be something poorly shielded, because you get an annoying, high pitched sound in the background when playing discs. This isn't noticeable at higher volumes, but is intrusive from quite pieces of music. This brings me on to another issue: volume control. My unit is now three years old and the volume knob is more for suggesting a volume than actually dealing in what you want. If you want to listen to something in the background at low volume, forget it. If you have the volume below 7 for more than 10 minutes, the unit switches itself off. The unit does not remember what volume it was set to when switched back on, so it will start LOUD every time. I've put up with these quirks for three years, but now my units CD player had stopped working. It's time to look for something new, and whatever I get, it won't be anything from i-box. This is very much overpriced for the quality of the product.
