So Phresh Scatter Shield High-Back Litter Box Charcoal X-Large 24" L X 18" W X 10" H

My cat had an extra large litter box before and because she's 13 now, she recently developed a habit of peeing behind the box. She would pee and some of it would miss. So I've been searching for a litter box that would stop that mess. This is that box! I'm so happy I found this box. She started using it immediately. The bottom of the pan is coated so it makes it easier to clean the clumps as I use clumping litter. The only thing is the sides of the pan aren't coated with the same material so sometimes the urine may stick there but it's not bad. The opening of this box is also great because it's not super low to where all of the litter will end up all over your floor. I noticed that there was SIGNIFICANTLY less litter than with her old box on the floor. Even though my cat is kind of up there in age, she is still very active so the opening isn't a problem for her to climb over. However, if you have a sickly, disabled or really old cat this opening may be slightly too high. My cat is of average size ( 8-10lbs), and she has plenty of space to use. This box actually helps me save on litter because I don't have to put as much in to be used, and not a lot spills out so it's a win/win. Would definitely recommend this box to average cat owners whose cats aren't picky about where they go to the bathroom and also want to stop the annoying urinating behind the box. The sides are high enough that the urine doesn't even come close to coming out. Hope this helps someone.

This litter box is a perfect size for my 5 cats. The bottom is the type that keeps the urine balls from sticking. The height is perfect for my one girl who doesn’t quite squat. Very happy with my purchase.

My cats are slobs that have managed to extend litter and their mess outside the boundaries of *covered* pans, but crazy person that I am, I decided to try this open pan anyway. Strange and TRUE: No litter or cat pee escaped this pan!!! I think it's because of the design, the deeper sides and higher back. Also very easy to clean surface, at least for now. I replaced entire litter and washed the pan with bleach and soap at least four times already. Still good.

Second purchase of these litter pans - so great for full size cats. The high back was a selling point. Easy to clean. Please don't stop making these litter boxes!

My previous cat boxes were the large rectangular kind and my cats kicked sand all over and made a mess.. These cat boxes are even bigger and have high walls on 3 sizes. Now the cats are only able to get a very small amount of sand out of these boxes. So they do a good job of keeping the litter in the box. Do they do the job 100%? No. But what does? Bottom line is they do a good job and they are definitely a lot better than my old cat boxes. Price was right too.

I have bought four of these now, and I love them! I first used this for my rabbit's litter box - she was a half-flemish giant (about 12 lbs). She had trouble with spraying over the sides of regular litterboxes, so the high walls were great. We did need to get her a different one when she got older and had more trouble clearing the front of the box. We also use this for our cats - one is a Maine Coon, and it fits him well. It also fits in the litter box enclosure and keeps him from accidentally peeing on the enclosure itself. 10/10 would recommend.

I wanted a high sided box, this one delivers, though expensive. Some how my cat still manages to kick some wet specks onto the wall, but I would have to get an all-around one for that not to happen and he won't go in those. It's very sturdy and the entry is not too high but high enough.
