I Still Believe Paperback – February 1, 2013

I highly recommend this honest and uplifting book. God really used this story to encourage me through a hard time of grief. My circumstance is very different from the authors but walking through loss and disappointment hurts in the same way. I was encouraged to hope and trust in Jesus. Thank you!

In 2009 I lost my youngest daughter who was 21 and though it was the hardest thing I had ever had to deal with or will ever have to deal with, Jeremy Camps music..the words of his songs that came from his broken heart, helped get me through that time of struggling with my own beliefs in the God I once knew. For the first year, all I did was plug my iPod in and get on my elliptical and sing Jeremy's songs at the top of my lungs. It brought me comfort, healing and peace in a way I don't think anything else could have. I couldn't pray, couldn't read my Bible and couldn't function on a normal, every day basis. This music and his story helped me through. I am now just finishing reading this book and it is a great one to read if you are struggling through a loss and grief that comes with it. I encourage you to download his songs and listen to them and let the healing begin. The Bible says we are able to comfort others with the comfort we have been given and this is just what this wonderful man of God does through his story and through his music! Thank you Jeremy for sharing your journey and for being obedient to God when He called you to pick up your guitar!

Book is great so far.

This is absolutely a beautiful story. I have been a Jeremy Camp fan for years, but only knew a little about his testimony. As I read "I Still Believe" it completely touched my heart. This book draws you in and it is pretty impossible to put down. It is written with such transparency and packed full of hope and encouragement. As I said above, I have been a Jeremy Camp fan for years.. loving his music and relating to it. After reading his book I now see where so many of those lyrics came from. Truly, this is one of the best books I have read in a long time. It is captivating and relatable! I have loaned the book out to a few friends and they all say the same thing! For me, it was a life changing book.. I came away from it wanting a deeper relationship with God and really wanting to see how God works all things out!!! So worth the read!!!! Loved it!!!

I have loved Jeremy Camp’s songs since his first album. I don’t go to concerts and never heard the story behind the music that has impacted me for about 20 years. This book is an amazing view to the heart of the music. It is a must read for anyone who loves the song “I Still Believe”!

There is always a story behind the songs we sing, shows/movies we watch or the books we read. It is amazing that Jeremy Camp shared his testimony so all who hear can know about Jesus.

I saw the I still believe movie (which was really good) but then a while later came across the book Melissa' mother wrote containing Melissa's journals and ordered it and was astounded by the faith and love of this girl. Then i saw this and thought well it might add a little more of his feelings/story than the movie so i ordered a used copy and wow, i am truely impressed by the faith of this man. So much more information about him and his life and his faith I always liked his music but now i just have such a tremendous amount of respect for this man. These 2 books his and her journals really challenged me as a Christian making me want the kind of faith the she had and he has. I highly recommend both books.

The book, "I Still Believe" is one that is very personal. For years I have listened to the music of Jeremy Camp but after reading this book there is so much insight now knowing what the driving force was behind the creation of many of his songs and the challenges he was facing. Jeremy Camp really opens up in this book not only as a Christian but one who is in the spotlight quite often. He talks a lot about where his family was at one point in their lives, the temptations that he himself faced and how he either overcame them or how they overcame him. This book reveals another human while very famous, still faces challenges and opposition and doesn't always rise above it from the start. For anyone who isn't saved and that has ever dealt with or is apart of a family that struggles with alcohol and death and overcoming those battles this book is a must read. Jeremy shares that through everything there is a God who loves us and wants us to live with him forever in paradise. I've enjoyed so much reading this book. It speaks a lot about how following your own will vs. following the will of God can change your life drastically.
