Q: Does it shrink after washing it?

There is no shrinkage after washing. I have been surprisingly happy with the way this tablecloth washes. I bought it, thinking it might be a “single use” item because I have 4, young grandchildren. One of them is special needs and they are very messy. This cloth looks like new after washing.

Q: How do you measure for the length of a round table cloth?

I would measure across the table and add 12 to 18 inches. You need an overhang. The smaller round tables are usually 70 inches round I believe. Hope this helps.

Q: Is this suitable for dining room dinner party or does it look and feel like vinyl?

This tablecloth has the texture of cloth, but it is not as soft and a little thicker. The weave of the fabric is not as smooth as what I personally would use on a dining room table. That being said, is does not have a plastic feel - it is cloth, so it would depend on how formal your dinner party is.
