Eureka Upright Vacuum Cleaners, PowerSpeed Lightweight, NEU181A

I bought a regular Eureka Powerspeed 6 years ago and loved it. It finally threw up the white flag on me recently. From what I have been told, that's about the average length of time they work. I wouldn't change my purchase for anything. It worked well until the day it just didn't. I adopted a kitten this year and when Spring hit, he started shedding. I bought a cordless, stick vacuum first to replace the first Eureka I had, but that was a mistake. Not knocking the cordless, stick vacuum because it's good for what it does (a quick clean up), but it does not pick up pet hair like I need it to. I decided to purchase the Eureka Powerspeed for Pets and OMG, game changer! The suction on this thing is amazing!! The canister is larger that the regular Powerspeed and the filter is easily rinseable. The first night after receiving my new vacuum, I emptied the canister twice. It picks up pet hair like nobody's business! Get it! It's money well spent and if I have to order another one in six years, I most definitely will!! The attachments work great as well. It's easy on my back. I believe it weighs about 10 pounds, but honestly it doesn't feel like it. It moves smoothly. You will not be disappointed. The only thing I will reiterate that someone else said about the vacuum is please be careful not to get the cord stuck under the vacuum. I learned from my first Eureka Powerspeed that it will strip your cord easily. Mine of course still worked, but the fact that I could see white where the black cord cover came off always bothered me.

Loveing this vacuum. Ive had it for about 2and half months. Pros: sucks up beach sand tracked in. Not loud. Will suck up bits of yarn pet hair and dirt. Easy to use attachments. Lightweight easy to maneuver around and compacted. Long cord. Cons : will not suck up straw wraper from juice box. Over all happy with its stability and performance and the smart design of hose attachments. Will keep an update to see if it lasts 6+ months.

What a great little machine. It comes with also some accessories and has the power to pick up pet hair from my home. I highly recommend

Very happy with purchase. Powerful, easy to use. only nit: I got his mostly for the turbo brush for pet hair, & am just a little underwhelmed at it. doesn't seem appreciably better than standard vacuum setup, and, because it doesn't pivot, you have to bend down to floor level to use it at all. But, overall, very happy.

I had owned a Eureka vacuum for 16 years; it was finally time for a replacement. After looking at dozens of vacuums and comparing their features and specifications, I chose this vacuum for its pet hair brush, large capacity dust cup, extension wand, and for being lightweight. Let's just say I am so disappointed. For starters, the vacuum I received was defective: the roller brush for vacuuming the floor would stay spinning while using the hose attachment. I specifically wanted a vacuum with a long hose attachment. The hose and crevice tool are so short that the vacuum tips over when using it (all while the roller brush is still spinning!). The plastic, especially the dust bin, feels extremely cheap and flimsy. And it is REALLY LOUD. This vacuum is nowhere nearly as intuitively or well designed nor as well constructed as my previous vacuum. The power button is on the bottom rear of the vacuum which may be convenient while vacuuming carpeting, but not while using the hose. On my previous vacuum, the power button (which could also turn on/off the roller brush) was within hand's reach. The hose and crevice tool were longer. Everything about my old vacuum was better. I'm sorry to see it go and be left with inferior replacement options. The only things this vacuum have going for it are its powerful suction and light weight. I returned it the next day.

I’m really happy with this vacuum. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and has great suction. I love the large dust cup because I don’t have to empty it often. It works well on both carpets and hard floors, and the attachments are very useful. Overall, it’s a great vacuum and makes cleaning much easier!

So I’ve had this vacuum for several months now. The suction is great. It works very well on my rugs much better than my other vacuums in the past. It leaves the lines that I like that make it look like you really vacuumed. You have to pick the settings which I think helps having the different settings. It also works well on carpet. Overall the suction is great. My complaints would be that the cord is pretty short also be very careful not to accidentally get the cord under where the suction is because it will easily damage the cord. I’ve done this a couple times now. It’ll expose the wires and I’m pretty sure if I hit that same spot that I’ve hit before it will break the cord in half so be very careful about not getting it caught underneath. Also, and this is a minor complaint. It is very loud now I’m totally fine with a vacuum being loud if it does everything I wanted to do, but I do have animals and yes, they are terrified and it is kind of annoying but if this is something that might bother you just be aware it is very loud. Overall, I think this is a great vacuum for the price and the main thing is it does do what I needed to do which is suck up the dirt really well. The suction is the best I’ve had for a vacuum, so that’s what’s most important to me. If it helps, I use setting one for hardwood setting three for rugs and setting five for carpet. If you’re on a budget, I highly recommend this. Also the attachments work very well but again warning they don’t have a lot of give so that part is slightly annoying, but they do work well.

La aspiradora es muy buena y no pesa. Funciona muy bien. Dejó muy limpias mis alfombras. La recomiendo mucho.

Probably the best vacuum I've had. The pet attachment works very well, easy to move and carry. Emptying is easy.

Tiene buena fuerza de aspiración y cepillado, pero no es muy fácil de manejar y es un poco pesada
