Add on to main training package
Works wonderfully on my 12-pound as well as 25 pound puppy. I've only use the vibration mode because that has stopped my dog's bad behavior in its tracks.UPDATE* after using the product for 5 days and charging it for a second time the collars became unpaired with the transmitter and I was only able to get one collar paired back with the transmitter, though now it won't stop randomly beeping. There was no phone number on the packaging to call about these issues, however I had received an email from the company and so I've emailed them back to see if they can fix these issues for me if so I will change my rating.**UPDATE the company responded within one day to my email and told me that the product has a lifetime guarantee and so they are happy to ship me out a whole new unit with no charge. So I have changed my writing back to a five-star since I'm getting a hold of the unit without having to return the first one and without any hassle!

This collar does not seem to work correctly. I've ...
This collar does not seem to work correctly. I've gradually moved up for my dog and even set shock to 100 it does nothing. I'm not sure if the remote & collar isn't reading or what. Seems to have no effect or I have to be right on top of the dog to get it to work.

Perfect barking detterent.
Perfect for dogs with behavioral issues. My little poodle and labradoodle want to protect the house and yard a bit too aggressively. No amount of shushing or yelling at them gets them to stop barking until they decide they want to. These however alert them to their bad behavior. I always start with the beep. I know it isn't going to work, but I want them to know that the beep comes first and so maybe in the future that will be all I need to do. I then hit them with the buzz at about level 5. This usually works to get their attention. But every now and then, especially if someone is walking down the path behind my home, they run full force and barking to the back fence. I beep, then buzz, then unfortunately shock. I only have to use it at level 3. These go to level 100 which I think is overkill. At least for me. But that shock stops them dead in their tracks. I always yell NO, again to hopefully just yell no in the future. The main reason I got these instead of ones that go off automatically when they bark is that my labradoodle loves to watch TV. He will bark and go up to the TV when he sees a dog or animal on it. I love this about him. So funny. I didn't want that to stop. I only want to make him know that when I'm home, strangers are okay. When I'm not home, bark as loud as you want at the door. That's why we have dogs. to love and protect us.I also wanted them to be rechargeable. I bought others that take batteries. They were nice in that they were smaller. My dogs are tiny as it is and I don't want something big on their necks. But batteries run out real quick. So rechargeable is the only real solution for me.Water resistant is another fantastic feature. With sprinklers and of course when it rains or snows, perfect.Pros: Great barking deterrent. Only prevents bad behavior when I'm around and when I want them to stop. Great range, rechargeable and water resistant. Nylon collars that were very easy to size down to my tiny dogs.Cons: A little big for my tiny dogs, but not so bad that I hate them.

(We've tried over and over) A friend of mine bought these and said she like them so I thought I'd give it a try
Okay so I have 2 large dogs, a pitbull and a lab/boxer. We just recently moved and don't have a fence yet and our dogs will not potty while on a leash. (We've tried over and over) A friend of mine bought these and said she like them so I thought I'd give it a try. The first time we used them they didn't respond to the sound alert or the vibration alert because they had no idea what I had just put on their neck, but then I switched to the shock and they came running back from down the road. After the first instance I've only had to actually "shock" them one more time, they now respond to the sound alert and know to come back if they get too far. Happy Dog owner :)

I do not like it at all
I do not like it at all, it does not' work, --will not stay charged, and does not stay on the proceedure checked, ck. viberate, and it might shock, or make a noise, and the others' checked, it will do the same--put it on training shock, and it usually viberates. I need to return the products, for a full refund. The collars say they will fit a dog weighing 100lbs. . NO WAY would they fit a dog close to that, not even a small border collie. Thank You'- Cynthia MILLER'- Skaggs

Works sometimes
Bought this to train my dogs. The option to be able to control the level of shock/vibrate is awesome! It worked very well for one of my dogs. I've trained him to come back when he hears the beep. When he hears/feels the vibration, it will stop what my dog from what he is doing for the most part. and a Shock for when he's acting a little to naughty.Pros: - Light Weight - Easy to switch from beep to vibrate to shock - Being able to control the level of shock and vibrate - Battery last about a week before needing to recharge (could be a con) - The reach is pretty far from the collar to the remoteCons: - If you have 2 dogs, switching back and forth between the two dogs will be a pain sometimesSo an update after having it for a few months. The collar seems to stop working after awhile, by that I mean that the collar does go into standby mode when not being used to conserve on battery life. Normally when my dog is taking a nap, and when my dogs wakes up and decides to start acting rowdy or doing something he is not suppose to be doing. I will grab the remote and.. of course the collar is still in standby mode even though, it should be activated by motion (which my dog clear is doing, by running around).. but it doesn't. So, I'll have to shake the collar to get it to work again. This happens a couple of times through out the day and it becomes a little annoying.. but for the price? I guess you can say I got what I paid for.
