Ford Driveshaft, One Piece Design 05-10 Mustang GT

Great replacement for the stock 2 piece driveshaft. Got rid of some of the clunk in the drivetrain and my 2007 only has 43K miles on it.Would be helpful to have a lift for install. I used ramps and my in ground storm shelter in the garage. Easy install once you get the rusted bolts off the transmission flange. Left it in neutral with e brake set. Raised the rear wheels off the ramp with a jack under the diff and had my wife release the e brake to rotate the driveshaft for ease of access to the bolts. Reset brake and lower onto ramps to keep shaft from turning while loosening and tightening bolts. Very happy with the purchase. Car feels faster due to more efficiency in drivetrain.

This was an easy upgrade if you have a lift. Removing 2 piece driveshaft and installing this one can be done without removing exhaust. The FRPP aluminum driveshaft is about half the weight of the steel 2 piece driveshaft. Mine has zero vibrations up to and over 80 mph. It feels a little faster, like 1 or 2 on scale of 10 faster.

Probably the only “single” mod that makes a noticeable difference. The acceleration was faster enough to notice anyhow . The feel of driving is much smoother and the drivetrain feels free compared to before but that may just be in my case since the oem was failing . If you’re thinking about it Get it you’ll not be disappointed.
