Stump cutters are made from solid Tungsten carbide brazed to a heat treated steel shank. The cutter surface has a cross-cut pattern of serrated knife edge cutters. These cutters are more aggressive than most other cutters and can remove a great deal of wood with little hand pressure, yet leave a smooth surface.

I do a bit of bark carving and usually carving out the back to allow for windows and such is a big pain in the backside. This little wonder ball lets me clear out the back in minutes and it fits perfectly in my Dremel.
