Compared to my old Kenwood DDX-512 (granted it was a 10 year old radio) it is better in every way
Just got it hooked up and everything works as designed. Touch screen works as well as my phone. You can tell the processor may be a little slow when you tell it to do 2 thing in quick succession. Back up camera works, bluetooth works, aux 3.5mm works, sd (tf) card works movies/music, USB works (movies/music). Compared to my old Kenwood DDX-512 (granted it was a 10 year old radio) it is better in every way.Hook up was a little confusing, but there is a video from a very nice lady explaining how to hook up the reverse camera and that made it a breeze.Thank you.Mine did come with mounting brackets that worked pretty well.If I have any issues with it I will update, but as of today (*day 1) it is great.(update)It has been installed for over a year. Sat outside in the Phoenix sun all last summer and it is still working great. Still deserves a 5 star rating.(second update)It has been installed now for 2 years. Sitting outside for 2 phoenix summers. Still works great, wish I could give it 6 stars(third update)05/18/20Still works perfect. Kids were watching Star Wars on it yesterday.(fourth update) 03/11/22I was thinking about changing the radio in my 4runner and I wondered if this one was still for sale. It is.. I am not sure if I am going to purchase it again, but figured I would make another update. Still works great.

A great stereo with many useful features such as Bluetooth, Sliding Touch Screen, Subwoofer Output, Rearview Camera input,FM Radio,AM Radio,TF Memory Card/USB/AUX-in Input, steering wheel controls etc... Also a great value for what you all get for the price. Sound quality is good And screen resolution is very good.So far, everything is good. For this MID-PRICED unit, I Hope it can last for two year. If it can function well in two year, I will buy another one.

Intall nightmare, worthless bluetooth
If you have a basic car Stock set up, then look for a basic Stock high Quality system. Does no good to have all these bells and whistles if you can connect them.I'm installing in a 2000 VW Passat and this unit is not fitting well into the Double Din Bracket. It has the units mounting screws that stick out, and makes the. unit a fraction wider that the mounting space. Just wide enough to make it a nightmare in modifications to make it fit. Not sure if all of this is worth it. If I had to do it again I would have gotten a Single Din unit with a double din adaptor.I got it installed and made sure it worked, but did not check the Bluetooth, big mistake. I connected just fine, but it sounded as if I was out of range. Terrible reception and could not bare to listen to it's poor quality. Then, I could not get it to connect to my daughters Android-At All. This unit is worthless. Do yourself a favor and pay $100.00 more for a quality Kenwood or Pioneer Double Din, or for another $50.00 you can get a good reliable Kenwood single Din.Now the nightmare of digging this unit out of the dash. Complete Nightmare!

... along with the double din dash kit and am satisfied with the product
I purchased this deck along with the double din dash kit and am satisfied with the product.Pros1) the packaging was immaculate I didn't have to worry about broken items2) the contents of the package included everything as stated in the item description3) The price of the item was satisfactory for everything that came with it4) the deck's features are very nice and easy to navigate throughCons1) the functionality of the remote sucks lol2) the touchscreen interface isn't smooth but workableOther pointsI have not installed the reverse camera as yet so I can't comment on the video quality but ill update this post when I do so.overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a visually appealing and fully functional deck at a decent price.

Instructions on How to Wire BackUp Camera in Review
This is a good radio for the price that comes with a terrible set of instructions. The instructions are filled with misspelled words and broken English. They also include nothing at all covering the back up camera install. I will offer what help I can here for future installers. As far as the radio functions, everything works well and as it should. Touch screen is bright and responds well. The installation is where the problems arise. First off, as is with all off brand car stereos, these are an odd size. They will not fit standard install kits. You will most likely have to fabricate and/or modify your vehicle to make it fit properly. I would still recommend buying an install kit for the wiring harness though. The power, ground and speaker wiring is pretty straightforward. I had to play around with the camera wiring to figure out how to make it work, as the instructions have nothing. I will save you the trouble here. First, the camera video cable plugs into the purple input in the back of the unit. There is an orange and black wire labeled "Reverse In" on the back of the radio unit. This needs to have 12v+ when the vehicle is in reverse. There is a red wire pigtail that sticks out both ends of the camera video cable. The easiest way to power the back up camera is to tap into the power wire for your reverse lights. Use that tap to feed 12v+ to the red wire on the camera and also the red pigtail on the camera end of the camera video cable. You can then use the red pigtail on the radio end of the video cable to power the orange and black wire labelled "Reverse In" on the back of the radio unit. The black wire on the camera goes to ground. Now when your vehicle is placed in reverse, the radio music will stop and it will switch to the back up camera. In summary, if you are willing to do what you have to do to make it fit your vehicle, fight your way through broken English instructions and wire up your back up camera correctly, you can upgrade to a decent radio with modern features for a small price tag.
