works great with my Zoom portable mic
the included wire is really long! audio quality is high with my Zoom mic. glad i didnt buy a Rode mic because this mic is more than good enough!

TRS not supported with H5
This TRS does not work with the 1/2 inut ports. It does work in the standard mic port of the H5 once you turn on power to the port. I bought it to go in the number 1 or 2 inputs, but it does not work because you have to have the XLR adapter with a power limiter, lav mics only use 1.5-2 volts...the XLR port is 12v-48v

Very good for the price
This mic was perfect for my Zoom H1N recorder, the mic has a long cable and the frequency response is good, given the price. If you are on a budget, this would be a perfect second lav mic to pick up or as a first one if you don't want to pay premium prices for other options

Bad Audio Quality
Used this to try recording sounds from my car's exhaust, tried taping it on the bumper and also leaving it in the trunk. In the end, everything sound like slop or pennies in a can. My phone mic recorded better sound quality while sitting in the cabin.
