This special Beam N Read 120/240 Volt AC Adapter works with all Beam N Read Hands Free lights (LED and Classic). The adapter features a US style plug, a switch to change between input of 120 volts or 240 volts, and a 6 foot cord with a mini-phone plug. Output is 4.8v, 0.5 Amp. You may leave batteries in the Beam N Read or take them out to make a super lightweight light. Please note this is a power adapter and will not recharge batteries. Separately available is a DC adapter that works with 12 & 14 volt vehicle DC power outlets.
