Where can I find the tail piece for the drain? No stores in my area have it and said they believe its British

You need a free standing tub drain rough in, they sell them on amazon. They cost around $120 it comes with a piece that goes in the floor and a brass tail piece that fits on the tub drain. I have installed dozens of these tubs using this system it doesn’t get easier than that.

How are you supposed to secure/anchor this to the floor for install? Just glue it down? :-(

The plumbing fixture (drain) holds this in place. The faucet attaches to the floor outside the tub. My plumber used caulk at the bottom of the tub to hold it in place.

Is there a weight limit?

I do not know if their is a weight limit but I do know that my 250 lb husband does not in the tub. Hope that helps.
