Works Great
I wanted to have a garage camera for security and kids purpose, this fits well to my needs. I really like the magnetic holder approach because that made the life easy to install. My recommendation in the power port is, it could have been a usb-c installed of mini HDMI port, which is mostly outdated today's tech.It connect with the ring app seamless and I got it connected within minutes. Camera and Sound quality is gratifying and the videos recorded also looks good, I can able to customize many areas like notifications and the angle where the motions needs to be marked and very simple to use. It's not just for Garage even we can use it as a home camera, and access it from anywhere. So far no issue and no logs and will recommend it.

Clear pic. Works well with the App. Great price for this quality camera

10.00 monthly fee
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this camera because of the price. It's a.great camera with easy set up but what I didn't know was that after 30 days there is a $9.95 service fee to keep the recordings of the camera. I will opt out of that service. My Ring Camera is much more affordable and I should of stayed with one of their cameras..Update: There is a monthly plan for 3.99 a month. Only difference between the 9.99 and 3.99 plans is 30 days of video storage vs 7 days. I changed my rating to 5 stars!👍

Quick and easy set up.
We recently installed new garage door openers, which include the MyQ app to manage your Garage Door remotely. Very happy with the products. I wanted to include a garage camera and this is the model that was recommended through the app. The camera was easy to set up and was working in just minutes. My only problem is the cord isn’t long enough to reach the plugs because most garages are spare with the plugs. The magnetic mounting is a good idea but my walls are not metallic. I’m still working on finding the best placement, but generally speaking, this is a good product.

The definition of insanity!
I built an automotive shop in 2020 with three bay doors, each door has a Liftmaster opener that uses MyQ app and has worked flawlessly for the past four years. Black Friday 2024 rolls around and I buy Three MyQ Garage cameras for a decent price for added security when I’m away. I follow the steps to connect the cameras to the app, cameras pair to everything just fine during the process until I go to name the cameras and enter their location. (Why it needs a location entered is beyond me) and this message on all three cameras pops up; “ we apologize looks like we cannot update the name and location of your camera at this time, but it is in your device list. Please try to update name and location at a later time.” Light on cameras are solid green indicating a successful installation, however the cameras are no where to be found on my device list, so I reset the cameras and try again only to receive the same results. So after many attempts to reach someone from Chamberlain through an AI, I finally get a hold of a human that has me repeat all those processes over and over again (2hrs on the phone) just to get the same results. They even had my delete the app and reinstall it, reset my router, and they even told my I may need a laptop or an iPad to install it properly. All I have is an iPhone. When I try to scan the QR code on the actual camera in the MyQ app, I’m prompted with “we don’t recognize this QR code” At the end of this tech support call, nothing was fixed, tech support tells me they will escalate the issue to a supervisor and I should receive an email within 24-48 business hours, not days! What does that even mean? A full week? It’s been two days and have yet to receive an email with a solution. It just would have been nice to have one app I can connect my entire shop to was my thinking behind buying these cameras. I don’t think the cameras themselves are faulty. I just think the app is not working properly. And then reading other reviews on here it says that you need a five dollar monthly subscription for them to work? I had no idea about that. I can’t even get them to start working to begin with! You would think with everybody that’s paying five dollar monthly subscription that their tech-support and their app would work better! Thanks for nothing Chamberlain!
