I know honey doesn't spoil but maybe the bee pollen in this does? Because this smelled spoiled when I opened it, anyone else experience that?

That is how raw honey smells...it has a very strong aroma and can smell a little off if you are not used to how it is supposed to smell...hope this helps!!

What do you do with the top part of the capping??

I would never throw it away. I take small portions of it and chew it when I am having a sugar attack. Or add a bit of it along with a spoonful of the honey and add it to hot tea.

I know honey don't expire, but on jar there is a production date so may I know what production date?

True honey does not expire, so the date on the jar probably lets you know the age of the honey. Beware that the larger 2 lb. size of Really Raw Honey is NOT true honey - it separates! The label is exactly the same as the 16 oz. jar, but it is NOT the same. Don't buy it! Really Raw Honey does not list a phone number on their label for the convenience of customers' questions.
