Q: Will these flossers work for a 13 year old with a bottom permanent retainer with teeth very tight or are they only for widely spaced teeth?

My teeth are super tight and I am able to use this type of floss. It’s great for my bridge and really gets all the shit out of there.

I was sent the mint as well. Not happy. I notice the ones who said it was plain were from a few years ago. Maybe they don't have plain any longer, but they need to update the item.

Q: Does this have the "super" thick porous part only toward the end?

The end with the plastic stiffener to insert between your teeth is slightly thicker than the other end. I would recommend having another, thinner, floss on hand for the areas where your teeth may be closer together or for use when the floss shreds.
