Bronze shower curtain rod

I bought this as a temporary to hold a shower curtain while I waited to have the shower door installed during a bathroom remodel. It is nice quality and sturdy. Sits well against the wall. Easy to adjust tension. The brushed nickel has a fancy look. Worked well for what I needed it for.

Fits well. Assembly is easy. It is a tight fit and strong if mounted correctly. I love it.

Worked, and fit perfectly. Did not need one of the expander rods. Very sturdy and does not slip. Overall the price was decent, and a good value for the money. The bronze not only adds class to the look, it matches perfectly with the other fixtures in the bathroom!

Thos tension rod looks very nice and is made of some high-quality feeling material. We haven’t had it very long, so I don’t know if it’s gonna rust or not but it holds up the weight of a very heavy shower curtain that I have and the instructions are super easy to follow. Edit: after looking at this for a few days in our bathroom I’ve realized the color is off. This bronze color is very purple leaning and does not match any of the other bronze accents we have in that room. I’m still going to keep it because it’s strong and good quality but the color is way off and I don’t know how I didn’t see that before.

It's a little tricky to adjust the length when you are exactly 5' wide. Adjust the length before you put the 2nd end cap on, and it goes a bit easier. The spring doesn't give much, so it takes a little effort to compress it as you install it. Once it's in, though, it stays put. This has short sections that thread together very nicely, so it's very smooth.

I had high hopes for this bronze shower curtain rod, but it didn’t work out. The color and finish looked good, but the main problem was it wouldn’t hold its length. I tightened it up several times, and it still slipped down after a day or two. The tension just isn’t strong enough to keep it in place, even on smooth tile. Ended up sending it back. Nice idea, but it needs a better locking system to actually stay up.

I bought it back in September of 2025 and no issues, It still looks good and no rust. Disclaimer: Indo have a bathroom fan that keeps moisture at bay. I would think if there’s no fan in your bathroom, wiping rod after showering can do the trick to keep it rust free

Perfect way to add small updated details to the bathroom without breaking the bank. Its easy to install and very sturdy. The length will adjust based on how much twist or untwist the other side so then the spring inside the rod will also adjust at the same time, so the tighter you twist, the better it stays on.

I was unsure when I received the package as it comes in sections. But, assembled, it's actually very sturdy as well as looking nice. Comes with enough sections to fit most standard tub/showers.
