I bought a 3X and they are a bit snug on the waste, but feel great and the pockets are nice and deep with zippers!I just bought the green pair as well, since there were only 2 left!Good shorts!

These shorts are great! Really like the style, material, pocket depth, and zippers. HOWEVER! They run one size too small. The JPN XXL is equivalent to USA XL. Reason is the JPN size is tailored to the native gluteus minimus style vs. the USA gluteus maximus standard. Approved by the gluteus medius board of directors btw... hope this helps.
