Lego Friends 41667: Olivia's Gaming Cube
My Daughter loves the cubes or as she likes to think of them "little houses" and despite perhaps thinking you probably couldn't get too much play value out of such a small set she most definitely does. My Daughter has them stacked up pretending to be apartments with the Friends visiting each other etc and we love that they are portable which makes them handy to pack for when going on a car journey or dinner out somewhere. Our only niggle is the mystery colour of the pet included and that you don't know which colour is inside as she tends to want a specific colour animal depending which it is and out of the five recent cubes we got four yellow animals and one blue. The set itself has 64 pieces and includes an Olivia figure along with a cat which could be either green, blue, yellow or pink and you don't find out until you open the set. There are a few stickers to apply and some extra's which your child could possibly use to decorate the cube itself or maybe an art book etc.Olivia has a little gaming chair to be built along with a TV, speakers and headphones for Olivia to wear. A lovely little set with lots of play value.

Compact Lego equivalent of a fidget toy
If you’ve built a Lego Friends set before you have a reliable idea what to expect from this. The hybrid of standard Lego with the more doll-like minifigures, it’s a sweet, wholesome theme full of nice warm colours and positivity. The travel pack doesn’t have a lot in it- my daughter did the building part in no more than a couple of minutes tops- so if construction is what appeals about Lego, it’s not value for money in that respect. But it’s as a kind of fiddle toy, that you can play with, tell stories with, and which gives a child something to fiddle with on a long car journey, that this little self-contained toy-in-a-box makes a bit more sense. The cat colour is randomised, and there’s something a little odd there in my view- Lego Friends generally has a hint of believability about it, it feels like “what I want as a lifestyle when I grow up” stuff like classic Lego, so a mint green cat seems a little anachronistic. My kids don’t seem to be bothered by it though, and the cat really is rather sweet. Of course, if you’ve got a child who’ll be upset if the cat colour isn’t the one they wanted, it becomes a problem- but hopefully it won’t.A nice compact little Lego gift, no great longevity or value-for-money but it’ll still be welcome as a pocket money item.

Surprise inside
Lego 41667 Olivia's gaming cube. Part of the lego friends series play sets. Slightly more skinny and curvy compared to your standard lego block mini figures, making the figures look completely different in comparison. The set comes ins colourful cardboard box. You get a little travel cube den with speakers, headphones and tv. You also get a gaming station with screen, controller and a chair aswell as the Olivia doll and a surprise pet in a blind bag. Theres a set of stickers to add little details inside. Everything is contained in a bag, you can locate each piece easily and follow in the correct order. The instruction sheet is well illustrated, with clear images that are easy to understand and follow with each piece being recognisable. The set contains 64 pieces. Fun and colourful. Brilliant quality as expected. 5 sets to collect, each with a surprise pet. An affordable pocket money set to play with.

Nice, but the randomness annoyed me.
Unfortunately, didn't quite hit the spot for me.In terms of value for money, this definitely isn't it, because there are very little number of pieces. However, it is actually fun and you can create a very nice display with a whole series of these, and that is what gives this value. That said, £8.99 still feels a bit too expensive for what it is, but it is Lego, so the brand name adds to the price.A little cube with a figure and a set up, so for children, the play value is there and you might even be surprised how much play value there is.The thing that really bugged me, however, is the randomness of the cat that comes in the box. Four different colours and what you get is random, which kind of pricked me, because that creates a few issues. First, you might not get the colour you want, which is disappointing, and people are like that, if it was a fixed colour you didn't like, you feel better about it than getting a chance of getting a colour you do like, but didn't get it. Children could get upset and want you to get another until they get the colour they want. This really irked me. Second issue is that this technically makes it a collectible, and for people who want to collect all the different colours, how many repetitions do you potentially get before collecting them all? And even if you got them all on the first go, you still have four sets of identical Lego, with the only difference being the cat. This seemed to be like a money grabber, as collectors will want them all and when you consider the price, four sets of these can easily buy you a larger set with more value and no issue of having the same set four times. So even though this is a nice item, I was a bit irritated by it, therefore had to rate it down a bit.

A great tiny gift idea
I love these. These can be built and rebuilt and they offer some play value. These sets come with a tiny suitcase-like container and offer a possibility to decorate the interior with objects provided in parts. So you assemle those tiny objects, insert them into the case and there is a doll with semi-flexible hair that can go in too.A great little set to take on a journey, to school to role play during the break or to just keep in a space where there is not much of it. It takes only a short whilento assemle it but it does offer some role play opportunity.

Fun travel set - Great Value - Includes girl and cat figurine
If you have a little one into Lego friends this is a really cute travel play set. This will definitely appeal to younger gamers. The content is pretty basic but as it is less than £10 it does offer good value if you're building your Lego friends collection. obviously, this is for kids over 5/6 due to the small parts and components.
