WaverlyBanjo Tuning Pegs, Nickel, Set of 4

Fellow musicians wonder what has happened. They say before the Waverlys I was always out of tune, and now I sound like a professional player.

The fit and finish of these tuners are top notch! The finish is of the higher quality! I recommend these for stage performances when you need to be spot on accurate and in tune.

3 out of 4 tuners worked. 1 tuner was defective and I had to use one of the old tuners with the new key knob.

I put them on my Deering Goodtime after a long rebuild on it. However one of the 4 was broken and I had to send it back. Just waiting for the new replacement. They are very nice and the thumb knobs are so pretty, the photos don't do them justices. If you love you banjo as much as I do...give it some love with these beauties!

The little washers (cork perhaps) that provide friction quickly flatten out and no matter how tight I make the little screws at the end of the button, they don't stay tight. I'm guessing a tiny lock washer would improve the design. I'm disappointed in the quality. I expected better from StewMac.

This is the brand to buy if you need banjo parts, perfect fit and working smooth.

The Waverly tuners is by far a super great deal. Also the performance of the tuners are amazing. I am a seasoned musician and happy to find that these tuners are such a great deal. You would expect to pay double for the quality that goes in to these tuners. Happy camper!

Great tuners. Definitely a step up for my banjo.
