Not good and I micro solder..

Good price came on time easy to fit

Exactly the same shape as my broken one (the thyristor blew up) so it was a straight out and in. Requires soldering so only attempt if you are confident in doing so. The little internal circuit board was the same design as the old one so I didn't need to trim any wires. I did notice that the thyristor was different though.

I bought two of these dimmers and they both work with vintage style LED bulbs but the quality control is concerning. The solder pads lift off the PCB as soon as you start to apply heat/solder to them (my iron wasn't too hot). Even the vendors photos show some really ropey soldering. I ended up soldering my mains connections to the solder points of the legs on other components on the same track. Like I said, they work but not convinced of the quality.

No instructions, no connection points for wiring, soldering iron would be needed, but again no obvious points for soldering.

I can only give this product 4 out of 5 as it ships with no instructions whatsoever and needs soldering, luckily a reviewer has left a "how to..." which was very helpful. I had purchased a version some months previously, that looks identical to this but had needed no soldering as there were two screw terminals to hold the wires.All said, however, the unit works well and if you ensure you have the correct LED's dims and brightens with no flickering.

Perfect for the job. If I had to find a fault it would be that the hooks could start a little higher up to prevent the bottom hooks being so low.
