5 min on damp hair without mixing bowls, brushes, and caps for 40 minutes- I’m sold!
Love this color! And so easy to do! I used the Hot pink color shampoo only. My hair was previously bleached. I put it on damp hair and kept it on for 5 minutes then rinsed well with cold water. It will stain so be sure to use gloves and clean your tub/shower afterwards. My temples are gray and the color took very well there too!No transfer on my pillow (with dry hair).I love that I can do with so quick in the shower without having to do the mixing bowl/brush/cap and keep it on for 40 minutes. So quick and I love the shine and the depth of the color!

Does the job!
Bought with the conditioner to revitalize my chlorine drained pink highlights. My highlights have gone back to blonde, but this restores it back to it's original beauty. Worth the money!

Very bright
My hair is naturally dark and I have some gray/silver. It's bleached on top and natural on bottom. I keep it short. Also, my hair is baby fine/soft to start with. Bleaching it multiple times has made it a very tiny bit more coarse but it's overall still super soft and so I don't want to speak about if the shampoo makes my hair soft simply because my hair is already soft.I bought and have used both the lavender and the hot pink. The lavender is very light. Several washes with the lavender in a row, leaving it on in the shower for 10 minutes or more results in maybe a light colored to medium purple at the most. Now, the lavender washes out very quickly. Like, after using it for a week straight, all I'd have to do is wash my hair 2 or 3 times with regular shampoo (that's 2 or 3 times in the same shower, not over 2 or 3 days) and it would be pretty much all gone. And that's fine. Because that's what I bought these shampoos for. Now, the hot pink...that's a different story. One wash with hot pink and I got...a very bright, very much hot pink color. Again, that's fine. It's just what I was going for. I washed with the pink 3 or 4 days in a row to see just how dark it would get and it got very, very hot pink. Awesome! But...I have not used the color shampoo in 3 weeks and my hair is still pink. It's not washing out like the lavender did. It's not as intense a color as it was but it's definitely still very pink. Now, I don't care. But if you're looking for a pink color for a day or 2 that will wash out after a couple washes...this isn't it. I wash my hair twice every day. This color isn't coming out. It's gone from shocking, hot pink to just a pink color. Again, I don't care. I like it. But oh boy, this isn't coming out near as fast as the lavender. Now, I also bought the darker purple color but I haven't tried it yet. I'm thinking I'm going to wash with that while the pink is still in and see what it gets me but I'm over due to get it bleached and trimmed again so I'll wait until after that. It's a great color, either way. The bright, BRIGHT/intense pink was great and so is the current, faded pink. The lavender was nice too. I'm enjoying the different colors and intend to buy a couple more. There is a chemical smell but it's not near as bad as the bleach or like, normal at home hair dye. I have a severally reactive airway and asthma and it doesn't bother me.The shampoo doesn't stain the shower walls. We have Carrara marble tiles and they aren't stained. The pink does stain my hands a little when I put it on but it washes off. There is no staining at all with the lavender.

Better to lighten your roots for a more evened out look makes darker root outgrowth even darker
I have dirty blonde hair with highlights that were grown out and I really needed to get my roots blonde before I did this. You can see that my roots still didn’t pick up much color ..It works great and is easy to use , it does stain shower , magic eraser and cleaner helped with elbow grease ! It really made my overall hair darker , especially the natural dirty blonde part. It showed up great on the blonde vibrantly , you can see it on darker parts of my hair too it’s just more like burnt red brown .I applied a bunch of conditioner first then put some the purple wash in for only a few minutes and rinsed.Within a few washes the color lightened up a little and is blending nicely , but it def made my roots way darker .I am glad I left some blonde pieces out of the color all together to get a more multi dimensional look. I do like how it picked up on the highlight spots, and is darker on darker spots jsit wished I would’ve maybe choose the lighter purple option or highlighted the roots first !! I think there is a smoky lavendar or lilac that maybe would’ve been nice.

Works!! See pics
Bottle instructions do not say how long to leave it in, but it doesn't really matter as long as you do a good job getting it applied thoroughly (especially for my fellow thick-haired girlies). I recommend using gloves when you apply and rinse. I washed with the product, rinsed really well, did my usual conditioner, rinsed again, and that was it. My tub is a little pink now but my hair is looking fab! See pics. The dye attached really well to my bleached sections (previously pink but faded) and barely noticeable difference on my dark hair. Great quality.

Works okay..
I bought the teal one to reapply color to my hair streaks after my hairdresser recommended it to me. You can see parts of the blue in my hair are dull and unevenly colored. As someone with super thick hair, it’s hard to get a good application of the product unless I go layer by layer (which is the same process as applying hair dye in the first place). It’s also kind of difficult to work with because it comes out very “clumpy.” I find random globs of the shampoo on the shower floor after I try applying this to my hair which was a bit frustrating. I decided to add some conditioner in the bottle and mix it to get a better consistency with the product and I think that may have helped with the clumps. As for effectiveness, I’m not really satisfied with the color output. It’s definitely adding some color since my hair isn’t fading to green, but it’s still pretty dull which was disappointing. I think it’s to be expected since it’s a shampoo and is washed off almost immediately after applying. Regardless, I expected it to be a bit more vibrant. It does stain my fingernails whenever I use it, but that’s something I expected because it’s a dye. I use nail polish remover and the stains come off pretty easily!Overall, I probably won’t buy this again mostly due to the shampoo quality (“clumps”) and the poor results. I’ll stick to dying my hair myself to achieve better results.
