I recently picked up a new Canon mirrorless camera and needed a new card reader to deal with the new format. I decided to pick up this Kingston unit for a few reasons: 1. High speed - USB 3.2 Gen 1 will hardly break a sweat with UHS-II cards! 2. USB-C - obligatory "one cable to rule them all" - power, data, and ease-of-use is paramount! 3. Form factor - while I do not have the Kingston dock, that is of no concern - this works just fine on my desk, and fits nicely into my camera bag for trips. It's convenient having two card slots. The reader works extremely well - no disconnections, and the build quality feels great. If you have a UHS-II SD card and need an affordable, performant reader, this is a great option.

Great card reader, haven’t had any issues so far, I will be trying out some USHII cards soon the see what the transfer speeds are like.
