WOW and UPDATE
This the most perfect little buggy for grocery shopping. I whiz around the market with such ease—- the wheels are super smooth—- the cart is so light—- perfect compact size—- other shoppers are banging around with the huge market baskets and I weave in and out of the crowd with my little Clax. It’s Amazing. I don’t have to fight with the metal carts nor do I have to worry about touching the public carts nor do I have to use those wipes to clean the germs off. All that extra hassle is eliminated with this Clax buggy. It’s SO easy to unfold out of the back of my Jeep. Just the touch of that one button and it opens right up. The crate that it comes with is also super easy to open and fold. I run around the market collecting my items and then roll right up to the cashier where they ask me if I need any bags and I say “NOPE —- just put everything right back into the crate!” I then roll right on out of there and straight to my car where I can either unload the groceries into my cold bags or I can just leave the items in the crate, set the crate into the back of my Jeep and then click the one button on the buggy and it collapses flat with ease. It fits so perfectly into the back. It’s so much easier to use than a stroller. I drive home and unloading the groceries is easy—- I can either carry the crate full of the groceries straight into my home and unload into the kitchen. Or if it’s too heavy, I can just use the Clax buggy to wheel the crate i to the house unload and then take the Clax back to the car, leaving it ready for the next shopping trip. BTW, every where I go with the Clax someone stops me and comments—- telling me it’s so cool, and asking where I got it and how much did it cost. I think the price is WELL worth it. This has completely changed my shopping experience to that of enjoyment and ease. I get to do my own thing without the fight and hassle of using the public carts. And also, I don’t have to return the cart after unloading into my car. With my Clax I have my own little buggy and I zip in and out and go home. It’s really cute. I got the one with the green accent. Just because of green for groceries. Get this. It will improve your life.UPDATE JULY 2025:It’s been over a year and this buggy continues to be the best purchase and value. I get compliments on it every time I go to the market. I even take it with me to the mall. I take it everywhere to just place my purse in and my water bottle or drink whatever. It’s so convenient and easy. My nine year old now unloads it from the hatchback and unfolds it himself for me. When I’m out and pushing the Clax around, people smile at me and look at it, they say things like “Smart!” and “That’s Genius!” and “Wow, where did you get that?” and “That’s so convenient!” I get those comments 99% of the time when I go out with it. It’s a really good compact size but holds plenty. It even helps me to not spend too much at Target because it can’t hold as much at the regular shopping carts so instead of spending upwards of $300 while shopping, my average spending is $150, just on account of the fact that it fills up more quickly. But again, it holds the perfect amount and is capable of holding everything I have needed it to. I have yet to see someone else with one of these while I’m out—- I’m surprised I have not. I have seriously not seen one other person with one. Although, one time, a cashier person at Trader Joe’s did say they had seen one before. But I would love to see someone else shooing with one while I have mine out. Don’t be afraid of the price… it’s SO worth every penny.

Perfect for urban shopping
I live within a short walk of a large grocery store. I've been using one of those vertical shopping trolleys for hauling my groceries home -- and while I still prefer that trolley for shopping trips that involve taking the bus, the CLAX is so much more convenient when I can walk. I just push it to the store, fill it up, pack my purchases back into it as I check out, push it home -- right into the kitchen -- and unload it. It folds up easily, and fits nicely into the coat closet. I'm also pleased with how well made it appears to be. Feels really sturdy, and the design is brilliant. Yes, it seems expensive, but it's worth it.

Make Shopping Much Easier and Simpler and Help Eliminate Modern Day Tumbleweed!
One way to help eliminate modern day tumbleweed is to get your groceries at the store with your CLAX. The cart might seem expensive at first, but it is well worth the price. It is well made, lightweight, folds up very easy and stores in the back of my wife's car taking up very little room. We get a lot of stares when we shop with our CLAX and are frequently asked where we got it. The fold up basket that comes with the CLAX holds a good deal of groceries. A second fold up basket for the bottom is an additional $39. I found a second basket that fits (but does not fold up) that holds equally as much. When checking out at the grocery, we take out the individual items for the checker's conveyer, and then pass the CLAX through so the bagger can just re-insert the groceries directly right back into the baskets WITHOUT BAGS!!!.When you get to your car, you simply put your baskets of food in the car along with your folded up CLAX and off you go. When home, the reverse. Unfold the CLAX, load the baskets, and then roll inside the house. Simple as that, and extraordinarily convenient, and best of all, NO BAGS!!! Honestly, my CLAX probably will not hold the maximum amount of groceries a typical grocery cart is designed to carry, but if your grocery shopping is taxing the limits of your favorite grocery store's carts, then perhaps maybe you should consider get a second CLAX to compliment the first. You won't be sorry.

Brilliant design and worth buying
Buy this cart!! I've had mine for three years, and it is still rolling and sturdy! I am extremely glad I purchased it when we moved into a condo. We can use this in the market and after bringing groceries home to our elevator building. The Clax unfolds and folds easily for closet storage or to stow in the trunk or the car. It rolls smoothly and adjusts to hold tall items (like a rolled carpet or potted plant). While the provided basket is great, I also have folding tote boxes with long straps, and two of these fit on each level of the cart. My neighbors all have various kinds of folding wagons to move groceries, but my Clax is so much better -- it folds smaller, carries more, pushes instead of pulling, is customizable, and generally has a more clever design. This is worth every penny.

Extremely helpful independence aid
Purchased item to increase independence for an autistic adult with severe anxiety, so they could confidently and independently do their shopping while also using paratransit or ride share. While pricey at $300 or so, this item looks to be made very well and we anticipate it lasting a long time. The fold/ unfold is easy enough to do one-handed. When folded it is small enough to store next to the fridge or near the door. It fits in our trunk (versa sedan) or in the footwells of the back. The crates are easy enough to open/ fold for storage. They also keep the user mindful of how they will get the groceries into the car/ house, so the user isn't overwhelmed by the work required. It is smaller than a typical shopping cart found in the store, but is lighter and easier to maneuver (one handed if needed). We are also using it to take multiple trash bags out to the dumpster. By flipping up the top shelf, the bags can be stacked several high (we use a bungee cord to hold them to the frame) and wheeled away without as much risk of bag tearing while en route.Very pleased with the item.
