This really, honestly, genuinely works!Easy to use (minimal elbow grease necessary; no sweating through my tears as yet another pet hair remover fails to remove pet hair), feels sturdy as the handle is screwed to the bristles part and NOT stuck down with an out of date Pritt stick like so much of amazon's 'bargains' lately... oh, an added bonus is that according to the accompanying leaflet it can also be used to gently brush the pet him/herself...but since this works so well I haven't tried that yet in case my 2 35kg hairy beasts end up bald....so after brushing every chair, sofa, duvet cover, bed throw, blanket, sheet, cushion (everything bar it's original use of a car upholstery brush) I've come back to buy a few more in case they sell out or stop making them and I perish the thought of that because honestly, this really does work.*anyone who owns a shedding/moulting/rolling around the floor pet will understand the joy at finding this*Hallelujah :-)

Initially a bit disappointed, as I thought it wasn't any better than anything else I'd tried. However, I found I was using it wrong. Use it like a scrubbing brush, not like a grooming brush or something similar. This way I found it removes fur really well, better then any of my vacuum cleaners including my Kirby, or even anything else I've tried.One small point, I would suggest when using it like this you need to pad your knuckles as you can skin them.Perhaps the manufacturers could pad the handle in some way in future.

I took my time choosing a brush for the carpets in the car. The dog hair was thick and there was plenty of it. I admit to trying everything from hovering to selotape. Nothing worked until I tried this brush. It is brilliant. The hair came up easily and making a pile for the hoover to deal with was easy work. The carpets felt fluffier after too. If you've a dog and a hair car then get this brush to help you keep on top of it. It is well made, sturdy and I very much recommend it due to the reasons above and ultimately the value in money. I don't normally write reviews very often but I think this product deserves it's moment of fame. Having had many dogs and cats over the past 48 years of marriage we have had to deal with a lot of pet hair on carpets and in all of the cars we have owned and vacuum cleaners don't always cope so when I saw this rubber tongued brush I thought I would give it a punt and I was pleasantly surprised, not only was the quality excellent but I feel it is possibly unbreakable and the job I bought it for removing dog and cat hairs of carpets and settee's even when it's ground in it does a fantastic job with little effort and for the price you will not be disappointed. I am so pleased to find a tool that really works I am about to buy a second one to keep in the car so that it's always to hand just a shame I can't give it 6 stars.

The concept is good but the product is let down by poor design and manufacture; The press stud comes undone in use. The fixing of the 2 part handle is poor. The screws on mine came undone the first time I used it. I glued the 2 parts together and replaced the small screws with larger countersunk self tapping screws, cut flush to fit and secured with loctite thread lock.

I have a short haired dog and she shreds a lot, including into my car.while she was a puppy she loved to travel on the car's back shelf so the shelf ended up fully covered with dog hairs. i tried hoover, furminator, genearl brush, wet cloths and sticky roller but i wasn't happy. so i ordered this brush to give a try. only needed a little effort and the shelf turned like new. since then, i brushed fleece dog coat, woolen throw and fabric sittie with all my full satisfaction. the brush is large enough to cover large surfaces, fit in a man hands as well and it screwed together instead of glued. and also i tried it out on my dog and she absoultely loves it. i used furminator on her before but the metal was too harsh on her coat as well as on the furnitures. so this brush is effective yet gentle. highly recommended because it's also well made and sturdy.
