Aluminum Honeycomb Grid Core, 1/4" Cell, 10"x12"x .375"

Love this stuff. It provides a unique look when bent, and the organizational structure of the holes re-arranged. The first set of knife handles i made I left the structure of the honeycomb maze intact, just as it arrived from the factory. To me, it looked blaise and too uptight. Then I began reshaping the honeycomb matrix, and cutting it into smaller pieces and arranging them in the mold and presto. I had a winner. I make custom knives and more importantly my customers loved what was coming out of the molds once I "ruffled a few feathers" so to speak. The artistic license has been much appreciated. I am currently working on my second large piece of the honeycomb. I will order many more.

My review is more about the seller than the product. The product is exactly as described however and seems to be of good quality.The price of the aluminum honeycomb was about on par, but I put off purchasing this product from this seller because I thought the shipping was kind of high...right up until I received it. The box it came in seemed to be hand fit. It had corrugated cardboard pads covering both surface dimensions wrapped by standard cardboard on the outside. The contents was actually taped to the pads inside and all outside joints were double sealed with tape!I mean yeah, if a 50lb. tool box got tossed on it in transport, it would have crushed, but the seller went out of his way trying to keep the fragile product in its original form. So hats off to these guys for taking pride in what they do...that means a lot to me, and yes I will be making more purchases in the future.DavidDog Tick CustomKnife and Sheath

Using this for crafting. It worked well. Kind of pricey. Not too hard to cut for sizing
