I'm very happy with this product. My dad never took me fishing as a kid, and I didnt get around to it on my own. A few weeks before purchasing this item I found a fishing rod at the local consinement shop and planned on going down to the lake to try my hand at the sport. Unfortunately the local game warden, Officer Wilson, is a real jerk and too dedicated to his job. Before I even got to impale a single worm he asked to see my fishing license. Rediculous why would I bother to get a license in a skill that I have no known proficiency and do not plan to use for profit? Anyway Wilson snapped my rod in half, called me a "seaweed munching stink bass" and sent me on my way.I was really in the dumps until I found this bathtub friendly alternative. Great for learning the basics. Just hope I can find the fish with big back loops next summer when I pay the Gestapo their fee so I can fish in the lake like God intended.

My child is working on being aware of his surroundings. This will be a perfect gift to give him in Christmas to work on them better. He tends to not realize what his body needs to do when it needs to move move to get something or look for something. This way he has to stand away from an object and has to try to get it and he also has to look for a way to do so. The fish tops do not rotate and and the hooks do. Have a feeling I will be thoroughly entertained for the 1st several weeks.

My son loves bath toys so he loves this but it was less than perfect in my expectations. The fishing rod does not reel and the fish turn over. Three is a hole in the bottom of the fish which allow water to become stuck inside and mold if not dried out properly (which is almost impossible). It’s not easy to grab the fish which is fine because it makes it more challenging and fun.

This Bath toy is great for in or out of the water. Watching my 1 year old catch the fish and his face light up is worth the 5 star rating in my opinion. This toy is built with kids in mind. No small parts to worry about, the cord attaching the hook is very strong and I have no fear of him breaking it and swallowing the plastic hook. The 3 fish that come with the product are also very nice, they are well built and will not be easily destroyed. They float well and make bath time that much more enjoyable. If I had one suggestion, it would be to provide a mesh bag to hold all of the parts, that way you can hang it to dry after a wet and wild time of bathtub fishing!

Two grandsons are still playing with this fishing pole over a year after receiving. Highly recommend for ages 1.5 to 3.5!

We love these bathtub toys. this thing? They are sealed so water does not seep in causing mold. my granddaughter loves playing with these in the bubble bath and catching the little fish with the fishing pole. This is a great product.

The actual product is cute and durable. But when we bought it for our 2-3 year old grandchildren, it was too difficult for them to use. Now that the oldest is 4 and a half, she's regained interest, but it's still a struggle for her to snag the fish with the fishing rod's hook. Two issues cause this problem - one, the fish often flip over and float upside down, so we have to turn them over a lot. And two, the hook has to snag on the loop at the top of the fish absolutely perfectly, and kind of moving in from the side. It's harder than it looks to be successful, even as an adult!

I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my nephew. Its super cute and durable.
