Worth the price.
Great product! I used it on plaster walls for electrical cut-in boxes. The blade has many more uses. It's very durable. Well worth the money.

Works well
The carbide coating is on both sides of the blade and overall it looks like good quality carbide. I've only used it on a few cuts so far but the blade still looks like new. I imagine it'll last a while. If you're not familiar with Starlock blades, they are a quick-release mount blade primarily designed to be used on Starlock mount tools. However you can use these blades on most other non Starlock oscillating tools. Some tools may require an adapter which Bosch sells. If you buy an oscillating tool that has a Starlock mount please note you can only use Starlock blades, you will not be able to use your non Starlock blades on a Starlock tool. If you currently own a non Starlock oscillating tool and plan to buy a Starlock tool at some point in the future, then you might want to consider buying Starlock blades for your current tool, that way you can still use them later on when you buy a Starlock mount equipped tool.

Great for grout cutting
Works well for tile grout but seems to dull fairly quickly. Probably best to buy a spare. Was able to cut grout for approximately twenty 4x4 tiles and cleanly lift tiles and backer board.

Worked fantastic
Worked fantastic on floor self leveling cement when I needed to grind down and smooth out some rough and uneven spots.

Unexpected lack of quality
I own a lot of Bosch tools and accessories and am generally pleased with them all. They tend to be more expensive though their quality is generally first rate. But the performance of these Carbide Grit Plunge blades is shockingly poor at removing thin-set between porcelain tiles. I bought two of them to clean out excess thin-set on a bathroom tile project -- it was my first experience using levelling clips and wedges and I unintentionally left excess thin-set between the legs of some clips before I got the hang of it. After the clips were removed, I had little pockets of thin-set where the clips had been, each about an inch long, an 1/8" wide, and flush with the tile surface. They needed to be ground down 3/16" or so to make room for grout. The first blade started fine, but quickly slowed, and after cleaning out 18 thin-set pockets or so, it would barely plunge. As the photo shows, the carbide matrix had worn off the end of the blade and was coming off the back as well, leaving bare metal. I know to let the tool do the work and hadn't been applying undue force. I switched to a new blade with the same result. Today I switched to a Dremel MM500 blade, which so far has done four times the area, shows only slight wear, and is still cutting just fine. I cannot recommend Bosch OSL114CG blades

Best there is.
We specialize in Historic masonry repair, and use these blades on our Bosch oscillating multi tools, to remove Portland cement mortars from the head joints of brick walls. No-one seems to make these kinds of blades specifically for mortar removal, this particular one is supposed to be used for grout removal from tiles. However, as there's nothing on the market to compare them with, we'll carry on using them as they're the best. We typically use between 30-50 on each repointing project.

Great product but very expensive for the price
Great product but very expensive for the price. Takes out grout like cutting through paper.......just a lot more dusty :)

Very high quality product.
I used this blade to remove about 36 square feet of tile on a kitchen backsplash. It cut through both grout and tile very easily. Much better quality than other brands. Very highly recommend.

I’ve used this to cut ceramic tile, concrete, and clean up mortar. Connects flawlessly and seems to remain sharper than expected. I used the flat side to remove some leftover mortar that needed to be cleaned up.

These are a great blade, as an electrician i often have add boxes into plastered walls and this blade makes the job that bit easier. Quick release chuck on my multi tool makes it so quick and easy to change. I have had this blade quite some time now an it seems to be standing the test of time.

Unfortunately very poor quality. Used for grout (approximately 1.2m) and already lost top coat.

I use this to shape wood carvings where it does a good job.
