Good product
I have purchased this adapter to flash my old iPod (4th Gen click wheel) and worked as expected. But the only issue is the plastic was protruded a little bit (less than a centimeter) at the right and left corners of the female IDE 1.8 interface due to which I was unable to connect it to the male 1.8 pins of the iPod. So I had to carefully cut them off using a blade. Due to this I have to reduce one star.Another star I was reducing due to the delay in the post and the seller is not very responsive to my queries in time. It took more than 2 weeks to reach Texas.Other than the above two, great product that worked as expected.

Works OK in my ipod!
This card worked well for transforming my iPod Photo into a solid-state-disc machine. That is, I put a CF card into one end of the adapter and put the iPod drive plug into the other, and reassembled. Works like a charm. My only quibble is that this one has a LED drive-activity light on the circuit board that flashes when data is being read or written, meaning that it will drain the battery a little bit. Not a huge deal. I may try disabling the LED, but I'm afraid that if I do that, I'll destroy the adapter. I've been using it for two years now, and it's still working great, so it must be made of good stuff.

Works for 4th Gen iPod
I bought this to convert my old monochrome 4th Gen iPod classic to flash memory when the internal 20GB hard drive died. I used a Transcend 32GB Compact Flash memory card, and it worked great! The only issue was a little tab on the side of the female end that got in the way. I cut that off with scissors and had no issues after that.Shipped within estimated delivery time provided by Amazon. No tracking number unfortunately.
