Kid-Friendly, Engaging, and Informative
My 6 year old tends to question household habits like, "Don't go to bed too late," or, "You need some more protein/vegetables, etc." She's perfectly willing to go along as long as she knows why, and I realized I only had a vague understanding of why. This book was perfect for teaching both of us exactly why she needed to cut down on sugar (and screen time), eat more fresh produce, and go to bed earlier. The format was digestible and she enjoyed listening to me read the information. The author's tone was very engaging and informative. Highly recommend for those with 6 year olds and older!

It was interesting and helpful.
Helpful to planning meals for a seven year old that only likes one food at a time. I was able to get some better proteins and fruits and veggies into his diet. He was not real thrilled with book at first but started showing interest when I explained this would help him to leap further in a single bound.

She is one of the most respected pediatric otolaryngology surgeons in all of Southern California and beyond, revered by her peers, and held in high regard by her patients and staff. Here in this little book is a world of wisdom and knowledge to help guide you through raising healthy kids.

Great for kids
My 7 yo is into nutrition at the moment and there are great tidbits of information. He likes the way the book is setup, also.

Good resource book
I needed a book to help me teach health. This book gives me enough information to plan the activities and give the information needed to the students. The book uses language that kids can relate to.

Great info, a little too textbook for teens
The information in this book was excellent! It was very well written, however being geared towards teen reading, it reads a little too textbook/clinical for me. I’m afraid teens may not get as far into it as they should.
