Did my research
I shopped around quite a bit before making my purchase, and I'm glad I did. For anyone else wondering, this is a good one! I've waited a few weeks to leave a review to see how it performed, and it's wonderful! Easy installation, very soft toilet seat, no rips or tears have formed and the fabric is easy to clean! Would absolutely recommend!

Very well made
Some of the padded toliet seats that are available now-a-days are not well made. They're made with hard plastic and not wood inside the padding. I have 2 bathrooms & one of these in each. I just replaced one (was maybe 6 or 7 yrs old) b/c the seat plastic covering cracked & felt it was not sanitary... I really love these- easy on, easy off. You dont need tools but I always use a screw driver and a pair of plyers- easy for me as I am 72 & well... hands dont work like they did 10 yrs ago. 💗

Not great, but not bad.
I think the price is way off base for what you're getting! Sure, it not a bad product, but I just can't get past the price for such a mediocre product.Pros: It has a solid core, the cushion is fair for a bit before starting to soften, and it's very easy to install.Cons: The latches constantly loosen, and needs to be tightened frequently, although it's easy to do. The price went way too high, but quality stayed the same.Undecided if I should just switch to a comfortable solid seat. I guess if their price doesn't go down soon, that's what I'm going to do. At least I could get a decent solid seat that will outlast this seat bigtime!

Super comfortable.
Hard to find an oblong fitting seat that is cushioned. This one fit perfectly. The only drawback is the portion where your leg straddles the sides, the material could be thicker as it tears fairly easily the way it is designed. Other than that, it is a very good product.

Comfortable and easy to install
Installation was easier than removing the old one. The way the mounting was designed is wonderful makes it super easy to install. The seat is very comfortable and hold you up

You Get What You Pay For
The price of this product was a consideration. It was fairly cheap compared to other seats. The idea of padding was enticing, but the main reason for the purchase was thinking the padding would raise the seat height up some. The old toilet seat broke so this purchase came up. The concept of a snap off "calibrated" screw was enticing to eliminate the need for tools - which really wouldn't have been a big deal.Install was easy...almost too easy. The snap off fixture sure didn't feel super snug. Being a person that historically over-torqued things the snap off function was appreciated...but didn't leave a confident feeling the seat was seated properly. But to date - no issues with that. The reasons for the low rating is because of the material used for the seat and the hinges that attach the seat and seat lid. The first issue is whatever this coating material is made of - is not like the hard plastic of a normal seat. It's some kind of softer material. And it will stain. The underside of the seat definitely stains quickly. Clorox full strength bleach was not enough to eliminate the stains even after letting it sit for some time. That's kind of jacked up - it's not an issue with "hard" seats. Second issue is the pivot setup for the toilet seat and lid. Simply stated - there is so much flex in that pivot point the toilet seat and lid can slide around significantly from side to side. Over time flexing of this plastic will surely lead to something breaking - for sure. The other issue it creates is acceptable use with some aftermarket bidet type of products. Use of this toilet seat with a "Biffy" bidet is not a good idea at all. The seat flexes side to side so much (best estimate is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch) that any "Biffy" sort of adapter where a spacer is needed with the toilet seat results in the toilet seat slipping past the spacer and having one side of the toilet seat or another crash into any side mounted bidet...resulting in breaking the bidet.Perhaps without a side mounted bidet everything would be acceptable - the play in the pivot point would still be there but maybe as not much as a concern - but I question if the normal spacers prevent the "clunk" if it slips off the actual toilet. The padding difference from a hard to padded seat with this product was minimal - height change not worth it. A purchase of a different brand seat in the very near future with better construction is imminent before it can break an already installed side mounted bidet.Update - so tired of the seat flopping around and sliding off the toilet. The thing is going in the trash soon as the nee seat I ordered shows up.

Best Available, But not great
I bought a Mayfair padded seat just like this one about 3 years ago. It had a crack on the side right out of box, but it was small, so I kept it. Over time another crack developed. Eventually I had to mend the cracks with white Gorilla tape. You are not going to find a padded toilet seat made of vinal that eventually will not develop cracks. Also, don't be fooled by the videos. It is very hard to attach to the toilet. The seat does not easily come off of the toilet by turning the caps to the open position as shown in the video. You have to actually pry it open with something like a screwdriver to get it off for cleaning. And overtime the foam in the seat flattens and loses its soft comfort. So don't it expect more than 2 or 3 years of use from these padded seats.

Looks good
So far it’s looking good and comfortable to sit on. Unfortunately these types of seats don’t last too long before they crack.

Perfect for browsing Reddit
Do you poop a lot? Do you get caught up on your phone surfing Reddit & YouTube or filling out Amazon reviews until your legs fall asleep during a hangover poop? Has your girlfriend unironically slipped one of those “stop pooping I miss you :(“ notes under the bathroom door? Then this seat is for you!It was easy to install, fit perfectly on my standard toilet, and adds a good amount of cushioning compared to those rim gel pads and it looks like a normal classy nice comfy toilet seat to guests instead of some weird 6 inch high orthopedic hospital tube seat. The only downsides are that there’s a seam on the inside rim and 99% of the time it’s not a problem but occasionally if it’s a hot & humid day and you’re on there for a while the seat material gets a little slippery so your skin might slide just enough to scratch against that seam. But pro-tip: just keep a paper towel roll in the bathroom for cleaning or whatever and when it’s a hot day or you’ve been on there for a while because last night’s taco Tuesday is about to attack for round 3, just rip a paper towel sheet in half and put each half on the seat under your thighs to both absorb the sweat and cover the seam from scratching. For most of your poop sessions the seam shouldn’t be a problem and the cushion is worth it!I haven’t had any problems with the material tearing so far like other reviews have mentioned, but I try to be gentle with it instead of sprinting to the bathroom at the last second and power-diving my butt onto it lol Just sit down gently and it should last for a while.
