Ty Segall has made an astonishing string of albums for a guy who looks so young. This album might be his high point.It has all the melodic hooks and vocal harmonies of it's predecessors, but combines some of the thrashy sludge with smoothed out acoustic balladry that is surprisingly mature-sounding.The song Gold On The Shores is a modern classic, in my opinion, as are Inside Your Heart, and Would You Be My Love.There's some familiar themes at play here, like Ty's continued fascination with 60's and 70's psych rock, as well as some hints at new directions to come.

Easily my favorite Ty album. Ty has an extraordinary sense that allows him to blend genres in ways 99% of all other musicians simply cannot. This album, for example, is poppy but heavier than lead. It is dark garage rock mixed with glam-pop. The tone of fuzz is dialed to perfection. If you don't like this Ty album, I couldn't really recommend any others.

Classic. Cant get enough of Mr. Segall. This is a must have for anyone just getting in Ty!

Incredible fuzz rock n roll record. Loud, brutal and geniously well done. For a good ol' party at home or while driving in the highway is a blast. Crank up the speakers for an ultimate Ty Segall experience on the AC/DC paradise. I know Angus would dig this a lot if he listens to it. Maybe he has and is very proud. He must be. I bet Ty was a big AC/DC fan and making 3 or 4 records in a year is an answer of it. If you want a good nasty Rock overdose get the Ty Segall records you won't regret it and you'll remember this for it. Bon Apettito!!!
