Instrument I70S 4" Color Display

Have purchased several of these to upgrade older Raymarine units and installed one at the chart table. Great visibility, customizable and easy to use, especially if you have existing Raymarine cabling

I installed this inside the cabin of our sailboat so that I can monitor wind and depth without going out to the console. It is a very versatile instrument and can be setup to display any of the data that is circulating on your network. It does most everything that the Chartplotter MFD can do, except it has no chart, and no controls for autopilot. But it can show AIS targets, speed, depth, apparent wind, true wind, peak wind gust, boat speed, engine parameters, and etc. (If that data in on your network.)

Super visible in any condition.

Was not sure how much I would like these as I loved the I70. Raymarine/Flir did an excellent job at this update. It is the same interface that you are used to but in a sleek new version. It comes with either the black or silver bezel depending on which you like (or which MFD you have). For example if you are running a gen1 e-Series you have the silver bezel or if you have the new e-Series you have the black bezel. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that the new I70S only has one Seatalk ng port. This means that you cannot daisy chain multiple units together like you could with the previous version.

Replaced an old i60 depth module with a much more up to date display. The i70s can display all the boat details needed from the NMEA2K network. The housing is maybe 1/16" larger than the old i60 display it replaces, so the hole it went into needed a small amount of sanding. Also, screw holes don't match, so new holes, but the old holes are hidden, so no big deal. The only real thing I don't like about it is that the display is not visible with polarized sunglasses at certain angles. This is kind of annoying, but a little head tilt makes it visible... but I miss the simpler LCD display that was there.

This is a fantastic screen how replace my 2 other screen. what can I tell more 1 screen doing the job of 2. what wound you don't by it?
