This is by far top 10 purchases I've ever made. There are a lot of different options out there so look around, it will depend on your preference and you're set up. I needed a lot of room because I have a 16" laptop and it works great for that. By far my favorite way to use this, is get a portable monitor, but it on the stand that it comes with, and that way you can just have a keyboard and mouse on the desk, along with anything else you might need. I can see how this desk would be too high for someone of below average height, but I'm 5'7 and it's not a problem for me. It's also incredibly useful to have a drawer on the desk, I didn't expect I'd use it for anything but it has come in handy.It's also very easy to store, no assembly is needed, and it feels very sturdy and like it will last a long time. It does have some weight to it, but unless you're a smaller person the weight of it shouldn't be a problem, it's pretty easy to just pick up and movie, even with stuff on it. The only caveat with this desk is that it doesn't have a tilt feature (which I knew prior to purchasing), while I see how being able to tilt it would be beneficial, I feel it would make it flimsy so I opted for this one, and I'm happy with my choice.I think this is a great option for the price, yes, you can find cheaper ones on here, but not ones that are this size.

I have been using this for several months now, and it is really well made, sturdy, and quite functional. Previously I had purchased a different brand that was height adjustable, and despite researching and reading reviews, it was a small cheaply made, flimsy piece of crap! It ended up in the trash bin. I wanted a lap desk with a larger surface, and even though this one doesn’t adjust height, it is definitely wider than most. Turns out it’s no big deal to me that the height isn’t adjustable. I find the height to be just fine. In fact, I love that there’s plenty of room for my legs and they don’t have to be straight out with little room to adjust like the smaller one I had. I can cross my legs at my ankles or at my knee, I can splay or flare them and move them around without moving the desk. (Some reviews by shorter people have claimed it’s too high for them. I’m 5’3” and it isn’t too tall at all for how I use it.) It's great for a computer desk over your lap while sitting on a sofa or in bed. It can be a food tv tray/table for meals on the sofa or in bed. I often use it while sitting on my sofa with my legs stretched out on a big round ottoman. I can place the table legs partly on the edge of sofa cushions and party on the ottoman and it is stable and functional. (See photos for details.) Despite its size and sturdiness, it’s still easy to lift it up and set it aside to get up to stretch/go to bathroom/get something from the kitchen/etc. I also use it a lot for Zoom meetings and the height is great for that. It can also be put on a kitchen table to be at a more level angle for the Zoom camera. (A low camera isn’t always a very flattering angle! Lol) I also appreciate that the legs fold up so it can be tucked away easily without taking up a lot of space. The hinges are well made and the legs lie flat without having to be snapped in to anything. Details like the contoured front edges for comfort with your arms and elbows show that the design was carefully crafted. Everything about it says quality design and manufacturing. A couple of reviews have said it’s too slick, but I find the surface to be very nice with a slight texture to it and nothing slides around and it’s easy to wipe clean. I suppose if it was tilted at an angle things might slide a little, but it’s not designed to be tilted, it’s a flat, level, slightly textured surface that is easy to clean with a damp cloth. It is one of my most satisfying purchases in my history of Amazon shopping!

First of all the width is amazing , I bought this so I could work on my laptop while in bed. There is a side tray and bookstand that stores easily under the table. The legs are sturdy and wide so I'm able to get comfy with blankets on top of me without feeling stuck. Here's the problem, but actually not a problem, lol this table will have you turning into a toddler trying to squirm out from under a high chair if you get too comfortable, I found myself ( several times) with the top half of my body under the table with my arms resting on top still typing and reading. I only noticed my position when my neck started to cramp and then had to adjust myself. but again managed to squirm my way half under the table several more times. It's genuinely hilarious and I have to say I'm not squirming out of discomfort it's actually the opposite. I actually squirming and find myself getting too comfortable because the height of the table and width allows me to place my laptop in different positions, I was so comfortable I actual fell asleep half under my table while doing work, like finding a child sleeping in their Lego bucked comfortably after playing for a while. SO, yes I recommend this folding desk, I got the lighter color to allow my daughter to decorate it with easy peel stickers, its a very nice uplifting feel with the light colored desk, it can be stored so easily behind your bed frame , or a behind a desk, under your bed , in your closet, just completely out of sight, until it is needed , I am probably going to buy more, if this company wanted to use me a spokes woman it would be a picture or video of me half under the desk happy as a clam doing work in my bed. Yes get this table , yes send me more desks for free if you'd like lol I'll gladly take them

This thing is as advertised. The surface is super slick though, so if you post it up on a less than stable surface (like a bed), stuff tends to slide off. I do like how you can set the book stand off to the side. If I could go back and do things over again, I probably would try a different brand/model. The thing works though.

I bought one of these for myself and one for my daughter as a gift. I love the fact that they are a large surface very sturdy and look great. I use them both on the couch and laying in bed working.
