Q: How long are each of the sizes?

Were very long gave them away. No tag inside to verify size. Supposed to be xxl but sure did not seem that big.

Q: what is Viscose? its not cotton like the long ones, so what am i to expect when it comes to relaxing in 95% temp. Florida? I know what cotton's like?

Cooler and softer than cotton. More relaxed drape than cotton.

Q: is static cling a problem with these shorts?

Getting them out of the drier tends to have a little static cling. Not while wearing them, however. Most comfortable shorts I've ever owned.

Q: Would any of these sizes fit 46inch waist?

I have a 44 inch waist and the xl had plenty of room. there is also a very long drawstring so it can definitely accommodate 46 inches.
