I just took it out of the bag today for the first time. This metal “rod” that is supposed to go through the blue part does NOT go through fully. It took all my and a friends strength to get it in maybe 1/2 inch. Then we couldn’t pull it out.

This device is well-made and could work well; however, the string is black, and it practically vanishes when looking down the line. I cannot understand why they simply didn’t make the string easier to follow in a bright yellow or orange color. For this reason, I am sending it back.

Idea and initial use was good. But very frustrating when it breaks on your first use. Broke on first use. 1) Spike would not slip through unit. 2) Retractable cord stopped retracting! Can you replace? I like the product.

Pin doesn’t fit into hole. Not even close! Goes in maybe 1/8”. The hell!? The golf pros who’ve endorsed this product have soiled their reputations! $50 for this excrement?
